A Fine Dine with JKT48 Members

On December 10, 2013 someone from IM3 called me to inform that I, Gala, Arman and Teddy won the KFC Dance Cover that were held in front of the JKT48 Theater. We never knew that it was a contest with a prize. So we kinda surprised to know that we just won a contest to spent 3 days holiday in Jakarta and a chance to meet JKT48 Members.
Long story short, me, Gala and Arman gathered up at Harris fX on December 13 to join other winners and the committee. Too bad Teddy couldn’t join us because he had other things to do out of town. After had our lunch at Sate Khas Senayan fX, we went to JKT48 Theater lobby. At the theater we met representatives from IM3, and a moment later, from the Theater, Ayana and Beby, my oshimen, came out in KFC Seifuku.
I was so happy to know that my oshimen will be one of the members we will meet on this holiday. We took a couple of group pictures, and we got IDR 2.500.000 (250 USD or so) to shop at Uniqlo. We had to buy as many items as possible with that amount of money and buy gift for JKT48 members. Cool huh?
After the opening ceremony we went to Uniqlo to spend the money we got. We only got 48 minutes to shop. Gala went crazy and taking all the stuff he saw at the store. He must reduce 8 items from his shopping cart so that the bill did not exceed the shopping budget. Me, Gala and Arman agreed to buy something for Rona. From the committee we knew that it was Rona who chose our video to be the winner of the contest. So we want to give her something. We bought a jacket, a shirt and a skirt. It seems that Rona like our gift. She posted a picture on her twitter wearing that jacket.
I asked Beby what she wants from uniqlo. She said she want something that is not too girly. So I decided to buy her a flannel shirt. From Nabilah Twitter account, the day after, there are several pictures with Beby in that Flannel shirt 
After we finished our shopping, we went to Hard Rock Cafe for the Dinner. At the entrance we met Beby, Ayana, Melody, and Nabilah. Melody and Nabilah couldn’t join us at the opening ceremony because they had to be at the recording studio on the afternoon. Luckily they can join us for the dinner.

We talked a lot. Ayana is very cute, she’s like the cute little sister, always laughed, very friendly and sometimes do stupid things. Melody, the “first lady” is very charming, she didn’t talk much but she engaged everyone in conversation. Nabilah, as always is the loud one. I am surprised to know that she remembered me showed up at Yahoo OMG event a few weeks before. She asked where I and my wife worked at, because she’s curious how can we enter the Yahoo OMG VIP lounge that night

Beby sat in front of me. She’s a little bit shy, but we talked a lot of things that night. We talked about AKB48 (Beby is pretty known 48 fan girl, due to her enthusiasm for 48 family), we even gossip about few things inside JKT48
At the end of the dinner, we gave the members the gift we bought earlier at Uniqlo. The best part was, we were allowed to take pictures with the members
The members had to leave around 8PM because they have to perform at MNC TV that night
A few minutes later, we’re headed back to Harris fX, and that is the end of Day 1 and what a fine dine it was
On the second day December 14 2013, we went to Dunia Fantasi. We got premium access so that we don’t have to queue.
Around 14.00 we went back to fX so that we’re not late for the theater show at 19.00
Thanks to IM3, we got special tickets and we can enter the theater with FAR tickets holder, means we’re able to sit on the third row. It was RKJ Setlist by team J. The show was amazing as usual.
On the third day December 15 2013, we’re having our breakfast at Coffee Bean fX. Luckily, I won another cash prize because I was the contestant who tweeted the most for the last 3 days
So, I really thanks IM3 and the JKT48 Officials for this unforgettable memories. Perhaps this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me
12月10日にIM3から、JKT48劇場前で開催された「KFCダンスカバー・コンテスト」で、僕とGala,ArmanそしてTeddyが入賞したとの電話があった。僕らは賞品があると思っていなかったので、「ジャカルタ3日間とJKT48メンバーに会える」という賞をゲットしたと知って驚いた。
早速要点に入ると、13日僕とGala、Armanは「ハリスｆｘ」ホテルに集まり、ここで他の入賞者や運営スタッフと合流した。なんとも残念なことにTeddyは、この日街の外で用事があったので来られなかった。僕らはfxの「Sate Khas」でランチを食べたあと、JKT48劇場のロビーへ向かった。僕らはそこでIM3のえらい人と会ったが、その直後、アヤナと僕の推しメンのベビーがKFCの制服で劇場から出てきたのだ。
自分の推しメンがこのイベントに出てきてくれたことを知って、僕はすごく幸せだった。みんなで写真を撮って、そして2万5千円相当のユニクロの商品券を貰った。これだけあれば山ほど買い物が出来て、JKT48のメンバーへのプレゼントも買える。これ、すごいだろ？
オープニング・セレモニーが終わったあと、僕らはユニクロで買い物をした。でも与えられた時間はたった「48分」。Galaは必死に店にある品物を手当たりしだいカートに突っ込んでいた。結局、彼は予算内に納めるために、カートから8点ほど戻さなければならなかった。
僕とGala、Armanは、ロナに何か買うことにした。僕らのビデオを選んでくれたのはロナだと、運営スタッフから聞いていたからだ。だから何か贈り物をしたかったのだ。僕らは、ジャケットとシャツとスカートを買った。ロナは気にいってくれたみたいで、そのジャケットを着たこの写真をツィッターにあげた。
僕はベビーに、ユニクロのどんなのが欲しいと聞いた。彼女は、あまりガーリーじゃないのがいいと言ったので、フランネルのシャツを買うことにした。何日かあと、ナビラのツイッターで、そのフランネルのシャツを着たベビーの写真を何枚か見つけた:D
ショッピングを終えたあと、僕らは晩御飯を食べにハードロックカフェに向かった。入り口でベビーとアヤナ、そしてメロディとナビラに会った。メロディとナビラはレコーディングがあったのでオープニング・セレモニーには来ていなかった。嬉しいことに晩御飯にはやって来てくれたのだ。
それはもう忘れられない晩御飯だった。僕の目の前、左から右へアヤナ、メロディ、ナビラそしてベビーが座った。制服じゃなくて私服だ

僕らは沢山話をした。アヤナはもうとてもキュート。妹みたいな感じで、よく笑った。すごくフレンドリーで何度もおどけた仕草をした。メロディは“ファーストレディ”だ。とてもチャーミング。お喋りじゃないけど僕たち皆に気を配ってくれた。ナビラは想像通りだ。“うるさい” ナビラは、数週間前にあったYahoo OMGイベントで僕ら夫婦を見かけたと言って僕を驚かせた。彼女は、Yahoo OMGのVIP席に入れるなんていったいどんな仕事なの、と知りたがった .
ベビーは僕の前に座った。少しシャイな感じだけれど、色んなことをお喋りした。僕らはAKB48のことや（ベビーは48のファンガールとしてとても有名。“48ファミリーおたく”なんだ）僕らはJKT48の内輪のゴシップの話までした .
晩御飯の最後に、僕らはさっきユニクロで買ったプレゼントをあげた。そして一番のハイライトはメンバーと写真を撮ることが出来たことだ
メンバーたちはこのあとMNCテレビに出るので8時頃に帰っていった。そのあと僕らはハリスfxホテルへ戻り、こうして素晴らしい晩餐を体験した1日目は幕を閉じたのだ
二日目の14日は、ドゥニア・ファンタジー遊園地へいった。プレミアチケットだったので、並ばなくてもよかった。そして、午後7時からの劇場公演に間に合うように、午後2時頃にはfxへ向かって出発した。
IM3の配慮で、僕らは「超遠方枠」と同じチケットを特別に頂いた。つまり3列目に座れたのだ。公演はチームJの「恋愛禁止条例」だ。ショーはいつもながら素晴らしいものだった。
三日目の15日の朝御飯はfxのCoffee Beanで。ラッキーなことに、僕はこの3日間で一番ツィートをした参加者として賞金をゲットした
この忘れがたい思い出をプレゼントして下さったIM3とJKT48の運営チームに本当に感謝。まさに一生に一度の経験だったね

I felt envious when reading this! If I was there at the dinner, maybe I wouldn’t be able to say a thing.
The “shopping” game indeed sounds cool. It kinda reminds me of an old TV show where someone was given a certain amount of money to spend for daily necessities. I wonder if they were inspired by that.
Nevertheless, I still felt envious >.< How lucky!
