Obituary: Mr. Jiro Inao

We’ve received news that JKT48 Operation Team’s own Mr. Jiro Inao, fondly remembered for his various appearances holding a mop before announcing new announcement for JKT48, is no longer here with us. According to Detik.com, an Indonesian news portal, Mr. Jiro Inao was found hanged on his bathroom on March 21st, 2017 at around 5PM GMT+7.

We’re truly sorry to hear of the loss of JKT48 Operation Team’s Mr. Jiro Inao. We extend our most sincere condolences to all the affected parties. All his works towards JKT48 will be fondly remembered by us and JKT48 fans in general. To all the affected parties especially Mr. Jiro Inao’s family, we offer you our thoughts, prayers and well wishes during this dark time in your life.

We really appreciate if JKT48 fans in general could prevent themselves from creating further speculations or accusations in regards to the circumstances surrounding his death as we can’t even begin to fathom what his family are going through right now.
