JKT48 : This Award is for The Better Future

Another feat achieved by JKT48. This time they won the Best Newcomer Award in Dahsyatnya Awards 2013. They able to surpass Cakra Khan, Davinci, Gamma1 and Latinka. For this feat, this AKB48 overseas sister group felt their own happiness although they admit that they felt a little bit pessimistic at first.
“We are all really happy, but honestly, we felt a little bit pessimistic at first. But then suddenly our name was called, very happy. This is our third award. We will try to be better in the future,” said Melody when we met them at Hall D JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta, Monday (1/21) night.

JKT48はまたひとつ快挙を成し遂げた。Cakra Khan、Davinci、Gamma1、Latinkaを押えて、ダシャット・アワード2013の最優秀新人賞に輝いたのだ。この快挙は、当初幾分あきらめ気味だったこのAKB48の姉妹グループに実に幸福な瞬間をもたらした。
「本当にみんな嬉しく思っています。でも正直に言うと最初は少し悲観的だったので、名前が呼ばれた時はもう嬉しくて。これは私たちにとって三つめの受賞になります。これからも、もっともっと頑張っていきます！」１月２１日（月）、ジャカルタ・ケマヨランの会場でメロディはそう語ってくれた。
Melody also said that this feat is the start to do better in the future. “We really have try our best. (But) this isn’t the end yet, this is the start for us to fight more and more,” she continued.
“For competitors, all of them are amazing, newcomer with a lot of fans. But thanks God, we got the award,” said Melody again.
メロディは、この受賞はより素晴らしい将来に向けての新たな始まりだと述べた。「本当にずっと一所懸命頑張ってきました。でもまだこれは私たちのゴールではありません。もっともっと努力していくためのスタート地点なんです」
「新人賞に共にノミネートされていた皆さんは、それはもう素晴らしかったです。とても多くのファンの皆さんが応援していました。でも、ありがとう神様！私たちが賞を授かることが出来たんです！」とメロディはそう語った。

That’s what I call “IMPRESSIVE”. We’re all proud of them. For JKT48’s member I ought to say, “Well done sons. You did good.” Just one thing is still bothering me. JKT48 should have brought back 2 awards in 2 different categories home, if only that darn G***n MJ didn’t steal another one right in the front of their noses. I don’t know what this clown prolem is, but he has been blowing shi*s up with JKT48′ fans ever since he did “hijack” an ex. member of JKT48. Anyway, the fact is 55 beautiful and talented girls (which are as popular as Russian AK47) have been beaten shi*less by just one clown whose name I’ve never heard (with friends in high places, talk about something rotten in the air here). And the question is, wil that fair enough? You be the judge.
Well, it’s a voting to begin with
. And Gavin is kinda smart there in PR. He promised for every 100 blast voter will got a chance to get a phone call from him etc,etc. If JKT48 ever promised something like that, I bet the voters will reached even more than we could ever imagine 
. But well, winning one award by practically doing just “Vote for us!” without promising anything is something that couldn’t be achieved without a loyal fan bases.
We might be lost in that one category in paper, but in reality, it’s the exact opposite.
A PHONE CALL?? C’mon…who need a phone call from a clown? Another clown? You gotta be shi**in’ me.

Speaking of lemon juice, why there aren’t any kids selling that in Indonesia, y’know with their sugary juices and angelic smile

me also wonder how come the little dude that have nothing special on the performance suddenly called as the winner..
for the newcomer award, me bet JKT will overrule.. as for the stage performance award; me think it’s between JKT and tiger trio (too lame to be written in indonesian, gomen ne..)

I think for Gavin’s fans, that is perhaps as special as a handshake and two shot sessions for us JKT48 fans.

I like when the girls win… but it’s hard not to push for “the plucky guy who is willing to go all out”.

What makes me upset from this ‘conspiracy theories’ is: fans actually have spent money to support JKT48. To win a category, fans were asked to vote for their favourite nominee by texting to the cellular operator that cooperate with Dahsyat. Imagine how much money they have spent for the 2nd category that was ‘stolen’ from JKT48.
I admit that I have shown my disagreement with such SMS-based contest earlier, knowing that it will only give money to Dahsyat and cellular operator, and not to JKT48. Nevertheless, I sent my vote for both categories as part of my support. I’d better use that stolen money to buy JKT48 merchandize
i ever heard about award system that every nominated will never get multiple award. so even though the girls get the most polling on “panggung terdahsyat” they can’t have it. i only know this on forum. i don’t know what the truth is, but i hope you guys can take it positively :). and about that, i think they need to lose sometimes, so they can reflect more on their work
IF the ‘each nominee can’t win more than one category’ rule is TRUE, why did they put JKT48 in two category? And then ask the fans to pay for winning them those category? Isn’t it sounds like they said we could buy TWO, but after we paid for two they said that can only get ONE?

Can we compare Yahoo OMG Award and DhSyat Award? For instance, OMG is the award better/more important than DahSya for the musical arttists in Indonesia. Or they are the same level?
AMI Award is No1 in Indonesia. Dahsyat(a TV music show) award+Yahoo OMG award is just a popularity contest in my opinion.
If my memory is correct, did JKT48 perform as the guest for AMI show? Are there any possibilities for JKT48 to achieve that award?
There might be possibilities but its small considering JKT48 doesn’t even have any CD Debut or original song up to date
