Idols and Flood

Twelve hours of non-stop heavy rain in the metro Jakarta has caused flooding in several parts of the city. Of course our dearest idols can’t run away from the fact that their city is so prone to flooding, something that has been a thorn on the side of the local city officials since God knows when.

Some of the members took it to Twitter to express themselves in the coming flood. Here are some of them:

12時間首都ジャカルタに降り続いた強い雨は市内のいくつもの場所で洪水を引き起こした。もちろん我らがアイドルも自分たちの街が洪水になりやすいという事実から逃れられない。いつ洪水になるかは神のみぞ知ることなので、自治体の役人にとっても避けられないことである。

メンバーの何人かが迫りくる洪水の中にいる自分たちをツイッターに採り上げた。これがそのいくつかである。

(Oh dear God, what should I do?)/あぁ神様、どうしたらいいの？

(No one here to picked me up. Can’t go home…flood already reached the school parking area, something that never happened before)/ここに迎えに来てくれる人がいないの。家に帰れない・・・。洪水が学校の駐車場にまで来ちゃった。こんなこと前になかったのに。

(Flood. Can’t go home yet. Oh well, let’s eat something instead)/洪水だぁ。まだ家に帰れない。ってことで食べるか。いただきます！

(So, what should I do?)/えぇぇぇ　どうすれば？

(Flood -laugh-)/洪水だ。ハハハ。

(Looking for food, hoofed the flood all the way)/食べ物買いに行ったら洪水に襲われたぁ
