AKB48 Members Social Media Update After Jakarta Arrival

Here’s the compilation of Social Media posts from AKB48 members (and Staff) who will join AKB48xJKT48 concert (who join AKB JKT concert) taken from February 17th to February 19th.

17th February

I’m here in Jakarta. At airport fans welcomed me with ”Giant” (A character from Doraemon) T-shirt. I’m glad that they know about “Jaishima” (The way fans teased her)

18th February

I arrived at Jakarta. Hot!! Hello,Jakarta fans!!

Got an appearance in Jakarta TV, got interviewed by magazine, etc. I’ll join screening party of Documentary AKB later on

Jakarta now. I’ve visited Bali dozens of times though, this is my first visit to Jakarta. I visited JKT theater. Nozawa&Shimada did”Tonarino banana” as surprise, fans smile, I enjoyed that pleasant atmosphere. Nakagawa & Chikano also fine, they do their best. JKT member’s smiling face heal me

19th February

Natsuki Uchiyama

Yesterday at the airport, the fans were there with a “Kabutomuchu!” written on a paper. I’m so glad!! Kabutomuchu! advance into Jakarta!!

(Kabutomuchu! Is an unofficial unit (just close friend circle), members are Natsuki Uchiyama, Hikari Hashimoto(They went to Jakarta), and Mittsuki Maeda.

A Fan asked “What is your first impression of Jakarta?” with Hikari Hasimoto answering that “It is so humid!!”

Arrived in Jakarta safely. The flight is far from boring since I spent 8 hours watching three movies. Jakarta is so humid. I’ll do my best to make my name known by Jakarta fans. Let’s go. I’m so sleepy

Fan: ”Do you eat any delicious food in Jakarta?”
Mr.Yuasa: ”Nasi goreng”

Fan: ”How about JKT theater?”
Mr.Yuasa: ”They are close with their fans. The fans get excited too”

Too bad that Minegishi Minami can’t join the concert due to her health. She wrote a message on her Twitter account:

As you know from official announcement, I can’t go to Jakarta and attending the joint concert due to health reasons. I’m really sorry for the fans that have waited for me.At
I have to recover my condition first and foremost. I promise that I will go to meet the Jakarta Fans again.
