Haruka in Another Sky Summary

While waiting for the 2nd day of the 3rd Anniversary JKT48 Concert, here is the summary of what happens in the video. Bear in mind that this is not a complete translation and I only translates some important points of this episode to help you understand better the outline of the show itself.

“Another Sky” is a kind of travel TV program. Guest appears and explains country/city which related with them. This time Haruka Nakagawa and Jakarta(Indonesia).

Haruka and two MC at studio. MC1 is Koji Imada (comedian), MC2 is Miori Takimoto (actress).

Haruka ”Now Jakarta is more livable than Japan. But no one come to meet me… Only Another Sky!!”

Haruka ”This is the first time I appear on a Japanese TV alone.”

Imada ”You already looks like a foreign talent.”

Imada ”Please use Indonesian.”

Imada ”Why do you go to Jakarta?”

Haruka (In Indonesian) ”I went to Jakarta once. There are many shopping malls, and many things, and Jakarta weather is kinda on the warm side, so yeah, I want to go to Jakarta (again)”

Haruka explains “car free day” and “we put sambal on fruit”

Haruka “(JKT48 theater) Capacity is 350, bigger than AKB theater.”

Haruka “Now people sometimes talk to me when I’m walking around in the city. Guess I’m more famous here than back home in Japan.”

Haruka ”At first I went to Jakarta following a concert by AKB48. After I know Jakarta, I consult Akimoto-sensei and decided to go there.”

Imada ”Who is your same generation AKB members?”

Haruka ”Watanabe Mayu-chan.”

Imada ”Mayuyu!! She is now the center of AKB!!”

Haruka (fawning) ”Yes she is!!”

Imada ”Now your face is…haha” and imitates Haruka’s face.

Haruka ”But I also do Center in Jakarta.”

Imada ”Really???”

Haruka explains “At my name, there are two flags, Japan and Indonesia. While Sonia, she is a crybaby, so crying face.”

Imada ”Your rank is?”

Haruka ”I’m the 3rd.” “So,please vote me next year.”

Imada ”One vote is useless…And if I vote, I’ll probably vote for Nabilah-chan.”

Haruka ”If you become my-oshi, I’ll introduce you to Nabilah-chan.”

Imada ”How old is she?”

Haruka ”Now 15 years old”

Imada ”…that is impossible…”

2 MC watched that previous arrangement and surprised because the casts were all lying down and sleeping.

Haruka ”At first I’m worried about my Indonesian (laugh), my accent, but now I think if they can laugh, it’s okay”

“What is JKT for Haruka?”

Haruka ”I want to be JKT member until the end. If I were asked to choose whether to go back to AKB or graduation, I’ll choose to graduate a JKT member instead. I never want to go back to AKB.”

Then Amon Miyamoto’s musical audition.

After 1st audition passed Haruka talk with Amon Miyamoto.

Miyamoto ”How do you feel about returning to Japan this time?”

Haruka ”This time I’ll go to Japan as a representative of JKT”

Miyamoto ”So, you want to win for every JKT members?”

Haruka ”Yes. I’ll do my best for every JKT members.”

Haruka ”I want to win against AKB by doing something.”

After she failed the final audition.

Haruka ”This result means I’m not there yet. Maybe I have to grow more back at Jakarta. So if I ever receive any chance in Japan again, I want to show myself more.”

Imada ”How do you think about your marriage?”

Haruka ”I want to marry a foreigner.”

Imada ”Miori-chan, how do you think about that?”

Miori ”I want to date a foreigner.”

Haruka ”Akimoto-sensei said -You’ll have to become the next Mrs.Devi (Dewi Soekarno)-”

Imada ”So, what is Jakarta to you?”

Haruka ”A place where I can be myself, where I can express myself.”

Haruka ”Maybe there are many hard things, but if I ever go back to Japan, that is a defeat to my purpose.”
