Viva JKT48 English and Japanese Subtitles
Heya! First of all, sorry for the long wait! It took us around two weeks to finish both Viva JKT48 English and Japanese subtitles after we got the raw. But we hope that our translation work this time is worth the wait to satiate your JKT48 thirst. As you already know, we usually don’t share the video for any of our sub release, but we made an exception this time since it is hard to get your hand on the video source. We can’t even find any that matched ours.
There are three subtitles embedded in the video:
- English subtitles with aggressive styling
- English subtitles with non-aggressive styling
- Japanese subtitles
Which I believe you already know how to switch between these subtitles. If you don’t know how to, here are the steps needed (assuming that you are on Windows):
- Download and install PotPlayer first;
- Play the file and right click on the player window;
- Choose Subtitles → Select Language
For VLC users, I personally recommend to watch the video using PotPlayer or MPC instead.
We decided to go with Torrent this time around. For those who don’t know how to download a file via Torrent, refer to this beginner’s guide, connection setup guide and part two of download guide.

Firstly, 皆さん、お疲れ様でした.
Truly, it takes a real fan to sit through the movie and actually subtitle it, in not one, but two languages. I take my hat off to the team behind this, doing this for international fans. Very professionally done, proper QC and checking.
Wish I could say the same for the movie. Wasn’t too atypical of a Indonesian movie unfortunately: high pictched female characters, uncivilised male characters, and just general cheesyness.
Final words: can’t believe the pilings for the monorail are still there after all those years!

even if it’s the downloaded version, me stop watching it after minute 15..
those who watch it on the big screen untill the credit screen ends are definitely something

one of the worst movie I’ve ever seen in my entire life… the scriptwriter, the producers, the director deserve a real hard punch in the face! I feel sorry for Haruka and Ve, their acting was actually good, especially haruka’s batsu game, she really can act. F**k this film
