Just another lazy author for JKT48Stuff whom mainly working with translations and sometimes writing articles about JKT48 with an obvious grammar problem. Was living his life as a JKT48 DD until...

    well,
to think that vanka tweeted kind of thing. I think she need encouragement from the people around her and the fans, to continue or stop…
    (((lets encourage vanka…rrrghhh)))
and beby’s tweet, I like it… hope vanka got the enlightenment.

*eh, for a teens its natural. not yet adult enough. that she thinks or feels like that. maybe she’s in galau mode = on (masih mencari jati diri) :-o
    Ganbatte vanka
    IMHO

  2. benimaru says:

she’s in the same age as nabilah.. an area where her mental still un-stable..

she had a nice look (and maybe some skills too, dunno abawt this..), maybe she just think; “with all this potential, why the hell i’m still a trainee?” or “the hell is wrong with management? i’m a Goddamn asset!”

if she want to reflect to gen 1, gen 1 need almost 1 year before they became a team..

and all her senior reply (me actually thinks) were merely an action to calming her down.. especially Shania, considering they were in the same school..

  3. sunred says:

    whiners should just quit.

    • himawari says:

Give her a break shes just frustrated. It’s not like shes throwing a temper tantrum over not being center like Watanabe Miyuki did.

  4. gorgom says:

No Tachil, don’t fall to the dark side (yet)! :(

I just hope that JOT put a little bit more attention to so called trainees and “undergirls”. For example, on the latest CD they gave “Kimi to Boku no Kankei” to Melody and Nabilllah. I know right, those 2 were haven’t got enough popularity. It’s just like they already got place on EVERY JKT48’s singles. Don’t get me wrong, I love both of them, it’s just that I feel that they already have all the exposure they deserve. (Although I’m really happy and suprised they give Hanna and Noella a spot on Managu, TBH I did’t even know Noella’s “existence” before this single  )

I don’t know if it will solve the problem (or even make it worse), but for the next single, we have to given a chance to vote which members we REALLY want to see. The result might surprise us (remember how Pajadora Revival Show votes, and the latest calendar votes?) And don’t forget the undergirls please…

    Just my 25 perak

  5. Well… Life isn’t really fair. You’ll get that unfairness a lot when you’re getting older. You just have to deal with it.

The system is there, adapted from the AKB48 concept. Yes, the system has flaws. Why do you think Haruka move to Jakarta than stay still to become AKB48’s under? However, she took a risk, and finally have her place here in Jakarta. It would take her many years to achieve her accomplishment.

So what could trainees do when they’re receiving so much pressure inside the system? Well, first of all, if you are still young, don’t give up. You’ve got your friends and fans to support you up. Yes I know, you don’t have lots of fans, compared to Melody or Nabilah (the face of JKT48). Just take one step at a time.

My suggestion is, create something out of the box, create something creative to make you stand out.
Look at Sisil, who creates short move of her daily life. Look at how she can find her unique talents inside the group. She’s the comedian of the group. Fans laugh with her jokes. Fans began to notice her.
Or check out Nobi who create a video of her singing an anime song.
Another great idea is by Nadila (I know she’s not one of the trainee, though she’s still part of JKT48’s unders). She creates challange for herself. She requests fans to give her challangable task, and she tries to accomplish it on weekly basis.

So Via, Rachel, Vanka, Dena, Shafa, Nobi, Sisil, please don’t give up.
You have fans to support you up.
And wait for the end of the week. You should see the proof of support coming at you in the theater.

    • gorgorm says:

Wow, I didn’t know that Sisil, Nobi and Nadila went to that extent. Good for them I guess, I hope their efforts makes them more popular. :)

There are a lot of comedian in the group, Alicia Chanzia performed a stand up comedy, and the natural troll Jeje… (did you watch her video on hitsrecord’s youtube, she told stories about Sonya’s bad habit…and the video suddenly got deleted  )

I remembered watching AKB48’s documentary, and a fans said that watching 48 group is like watching a bird that learn to fly, it’s not their talent that make him love them, but their efforts and spirits to soar higher than the rest that make him love them. Now, I feel that same vibe too.

You are right Mr. Pitra. I don’t know how she feels cause I never been in entertainment industry and never be but one thing I know that everything ends if you stop trying and believe in yourself. For Vanka, If you are reading this message, life is not about one answer only unlike exam paper. You have to chose the right answer to score but life have many possibility. Just keep believing in yourself and keep moving forward and your fans will always support you. I’m sure you will have your reward.

  6. 1!2!3!4! Korosu! says:

Haruka should tell her stories to Vanka.
Anyway, why did Angga decide to use “Return on Equity” instead of “Return on Investment”?

    • Angga says:

      Good question!

Well, since Vanka currently measures the efficiency of her investment (effort) rate of return (time) towards to the profits (reward), I think RoE is more acceptable in this case rather than RoI

And also, there’s another side of the card of why I decided to use RoE. Something that got to do with uh… “Shareholder Equity” ;)

  7. HERMAN says:

She has tried and fail. But the true failure is when she decides to stop trying.

  8. PN03 says:

Frustration is good, by complaining is even better to relieve stress at work. (wait, only do that  )

  9. Wotaliano says:

Well, firstly I’d like to go easy on her, as she’s just a teen and feeling frustration like this hopefully leads to growth…

Of course I would tell her not to give up. She feels she worked very hard but not much came out of it? She should just try some other way then.
It’s not who works the hardest, but who works the smartest that comes out on top in the end.

As Mr. Pitra says, inventing new ways to stand out, even a little, is how members make a place for themselves, in Japan, Indonesia, China, everywhere I think.

That said, grit your teeth and bear it Vanka, just keep your eyes open because I’m sure there are lots of chances rolling around you now…!

  10. RedRanger48 says:

To be successful in any 48 group under Aki-P, you don’t need good voice, good face, good hardwork. All do you need is

    LUCK.

    :)

    • ken says:

Haha…you’re right Mr. RedRanger48. I remember in episode of AKBINGO that revealed why Takamina was selected in audition. It because of her birthday and height had 48 number in it. Its was pretty ridiculous to choose her cause of that but she has a good voice after all

  11. Annie Tjia says:

Really, I think some people should stop saying “they’re still young, their mental is still unstable”. Unstable mental means illness, not teenagers behaviour. Besides, if we set aside her age and everything that proves her status as a teen, there’re many who can’t do what they do now. You made a decision to be in JKT48, sacrifize and do many things for JKT48, A responsibility that I’m sure many teenagers like them can’t cope for a long time. Please don’t say “Oh, they’re young, they still need to learn” because no matter what age you are something like this needs a big gut to do. So, if Vanka said that on Twitter, means she’s adult enough to question her problem and not just ignore it. It takes a lot of effort to even think about what you really want and do for your life, and for me Vanka has done a good thing to ask that on Twitter, she asked for advices.

    • benimaru says:

      She is mentally un-stable..

And for kids on her age, that is normal..

Unless you are emotionally well trained from young age, an action like Vanka just did is very normal (even adult sometimes do such thing, they even get drunk, literally)

Everybody has their own perception of maturity, not to disrespect, but yours truly differs from mine

  12. Buddy says:

Share problem in social media is big mistake, it would be better if Vanka share her problem to her parent, brother, sister, management or best friend. Now JOT and fans will think that is a right decision to put her in JKT48 trainee because she only want a reward but didn’t train hard enough like others member. :( Don’t worry Vanka i will give you a hug and lend you a shoulder to cry.
