Trainees’ Boku no Taiyou Report June 2nd 2013

== Prologue ==
It was my last day in Jakarta, why not watch the theater show?
On my first day, I couldn’t arrive at the theater before the Team J’s show started although I had already got a Super Far ticket right. Then, I decided to concentrate TeamJ members in the Signing Event and Shake Hand Event on June 1st, and to watch trainees’ theater show “Boku No Taiyo” on June 2nd.
On June 2nd, trainees had 2 shows at 12PM and 16PM. I queued for waiting list of the first show. Recently, their shows are always full of fans, so even trainees’ show it is hard to get a ticket by queuing for waiting list. However, I heard from local fans that many fans dried up their wallet in the Signing event and Shake Hand Event, it means the show might be not crowded. At 10:45 I arrived at the theater, 30 fans were already queuing, so my position was almost at the tail.
【プロローグ】
今回のジャカルタ滞在最終日、やはり公演を観なくては。
5月31日のTeamJ公演はSuper Farの権利を獲得しながら開演時間に間に合いませんでした。そのため、6月1日のサイン会と握手会はTeamJメンバーに集中し、6月2日にKKSの「僕の太陽」公演を観ることにしました。
公演は12:00と16:00の2回。12:00公演のキャンセル待ちに並ぶのですが、最近はKKSの公演もほぼ満員で、キャンセル待ちもかなり厳しいようです。ただ、現地ファンの話を聞くと、前日のサイン会と握手会で財布が空っぽになったファンも多いとも聞きました。
さて10:45に劇場に。すでにキャンセル待ちは30人、私はほとんど最後尾でした。
== Lucky ==
By the way, did you remember that TeamJ performed in TV program, Dahsyat in that morning? actually, I watched it in my hotel room.
When I was queuing, I had this thought of “Maybe…” Do you understand what I mean? Yes, I thought Team J would come back home after Dahsyat.
Oh! It came true!! They came back to theater, just before the ticket was sold for waiting listed fans. They still put on the uniform, came close to me while chattering, and entered the theater’s dressing room from the door which was the nearest from me. I could see all of them, Team J. I was soooo happy.
Finally I got a ticket, and entered to the theater. Because I was in the waiting list, my seat was far behind.
== Show ==
The members were,
Nadila, Sisil, Cindvia, Noella, Naomi, Della, Yona, Uty, Viny, Natalia, Lidya, Rona, Rachel, Tata, Acha, Ikha.
Kage-Ana(Announce behind the stage) was Lydia. She informed the theater rules for watching the show, and she said “terima kasih” intentionally in lower tone than her original low tone. Fans bursted into laughter.

Performed by 16 members. They used (performed) full area of stage widely. Taller members such as Viny, Tata are always prominent, however shorter members stood comparison with taller members because they performed from head to foot. All members seemed relax on the stage. I believe their hard training made them relax.

Self introduction and free talk Theme : “Happening in Handshake Event Yesterday”
I introduce some which made fans laughter.
Nadila met a boy, who came there in behalf of his friend. Actually Nadila’s fan was his friend. He read a fan letter from his friend in front of Nadila.
Viny met a Japanese guy. He talked hard to Viny in Japanese and English. But Viny, herself is not good at Japanese nor English, she was just nodding and didn’t understand anything.
I admired Sisil. She is not my oshimen, but since I saw her in 2nd generation audition I have been worrying about her, “Is she all right??” like parental love for my child. But! In her introduction, she said “Good evening, all!”. Other members said “Hey, this is day-time show, you know?” And she said, “Really? But this is basic technique to grasp fans attention, you know!?”. She made all people burst out laughing.

Rona’s dancing was sharp. Her body is small but I didn’t feel it. Very large-scale dancing.
7. Higurashi no Koi
This song and members’ expression reminded me something old memories.
8. Itoshisa no defense
In this song, I noticed Yona’s huge improvement.
I often saw Yona on Youtube, and also had ever saw her on this stage on March 20th, her back was a little bit bent. I’m sorry, I should change my wording, her back was a little bit arched. In this time, she held up her head, beautiful dancing. I am impressed very much.
9. Himawari
Their dancing was very elegant. They were on the stream of this song. Viny’s aura was awesome.

Theme : What do you do if you’re boring?
Sleeping, Playing game… etc.
I cared for Uty. When I saw her on March 20th, I thought her face and voice were like Atsuko Maeda’s. Her voice was, yes, still like Atsuko Maeda’s. But did she lose weight? She looked too much slim. Is she OK??

12. Deja Vu
Their performance in these 3 songs was so powerful. I just watched them with amazement.
In front of me, a mother and a her son who looked 10 years old was watching the show. These songs made him stand up and shake his right hand together with fans’ light stick.

Theme : How old are you going to get married?
When members talked about it, fans’ voice came “woooo!” one by one. Fans were very interested in it.
– Noella said, “other people say I will get married at 25 years old”
– Sisil said, “26 or 27”. Anyway, her talk was very funny.
– Tata said, “24”
– Cindvia said, “20”. But Acha said “20 years old Cindvia will be still same as our 17 years old…” , masochistic..
13. Yuhi wo Miteiru ka?
All the theater warmed up!
Just one thing. Fans’ MIX were not synchronized. If synchronized, fans would become one more and more.
*Previously, I asked friends in JKT-main thread, in 2ch (Internet forum), what do they think if local fans make original MIX way. All opinions were positive, “respect local fans way”.
But, include this song, MIX were weak. I don’t mean MIX is must. However, if Japanese fans advice local fans the basis of MIX in Japan and local fans arrange it with local way, I think it’s better.

Yes, wild taste as I expected. Noella, whose feature is a cheeky little miss, was one of the best. In this song, cheer from fans to members were biggest. I’m sure that local fans like this song very much.

Theme : What do you think if you are moved to AKB48?
All members answered “happy”.
Oh yes, When Lydia answered, she said “You know, I made small mistake with that Twitter case, right?” in masochistic way. Fans bursted into laughter.
I admired her. She used the show to advantage to make fans relieve from the gossip, like “I’m sorry for making you worry. But I’m OK.”

16. Boku no Taiyou
Their performance and the atmosphere of the theater were awesome! Full power!
No word, but tears because I was touched. Wonderful climax!
== Total Impression ==
“Boku No Taiyo” that I watched this time was a perfected show. I don’t mean that “Pajama Drive” that I watched in this March was not good. But in this ”Boku No Taiyo”, members’ vivacity, expression, show’s streaming, everything were awesome. I think the members’ skill level were totally raised. In March’s “Pajama Drive”, only Tata and Rona were remarkable. But now, even Tata and Rona in “Boku No Taiyo” were not so remarkable anymore due to the heightened skills of all members .
You know, 1 set list forms 1 story. I found that members’ performance and MC were improved so much, I didn’t find any gap through this show. Members have already accomplished to make themselves own this set list in their hands. Unbelievable stability.
In my eyes, they were not trainees any more, but I certainly saw “Team K” were there.
【ラッキーなこと】
6月2日は朝からTeamJがDahsyatに出演。ホテルの部屋のテレビでパフォを観ました。「もしかして…」と思ってました。わかりますか？そう、ここにいたらDahsyatの出演を終えたTeamJが帰って来るのでは？と思ったのです。
その通りになりました！キャンセル待ちのチケットが売られる直前、TeamJが帰ってきました。あの衣装のままで。みんなおしゃべりしながら歩いてきて、キャンセル待ち最後尾の私に一番近い裏口から劇場の楽屋に入る彼女たち全員を見ることができました。うれしかったなぁ。
チケットも無事に手に入り、劇場の中に。キャンセル待ちだったので席は後ろの方でしたが、全体が見渡せるので満足です。
【公演】
公演のメンバーは、
ナディラ、シシル、シンフィア、ノエラ、ナオミ、デラ、ヨナ、ウティ、フィニ、ナタリア、リディア、ロナ、ラヘル、タタ、アチャ、イカ
陰アナはリディア。劇場内の諸注意をアナウンスし、最後にTerima kasihの一言を、いつもの彼女の低音よりもわざと更に低音で。ファン爆笑。

16人でのこの4曲、ステージを端から端まで使い切っていました。フィニのような大柄なメンはもともと目立ちますが、小柄なメンも体一杯大きくダンスを踊っていて負けてません。見ていて余裕が感じられました。厳しいレッスンが余裕につながっているんでしょうね。
MC 自己紹介と一言。テーマ「昨日の握手会のできごと」
ファンにウケてたのをいくつか紹介します。
ナディラは、これなかった友達からの手紙を持ってきて、私の目の前でそれを読んだ人の話。
フィニは、日本人が来て一生懸命日本語と英語で話してくれるんだけど、自分は日本語も英語もダメなので、ずっとカラ返事しちゃったって話。
私のツボにはまったのがシシル。私の推しメンではありませんが、実はオーディション合格の時から親心のように「この子はほんとに大丈夫か？」と気にしていました。この日は自己紹介でいきなり「こんばんわー！」。他のメンから「おいおい、昼公演だよこれは！」と突っ込まれたら、「あら、こういうのって掴みの基本技術でしょ。」だって。場内は大爆笑。

ロナのキレがいい。体は小柄ですが、それを感じさせない大きなダンス。
7. Higurashi no Koi
これは曲調とメンのパフォーマンスが何か懐かしいものを感じさせました。
8. Itoshisa no defense
ここでヨナの変化に気づきました。YouTubeで観る動画もそうでしたし、前回見た公演もそうだったんですが、ヨナはちょっと猫背気味でした。猫背は言いすぎかもしれませんが、背筋が頼りなかった。今回は全く気にならず、背を伸ばし胸をはって踊ってました。これがすごくうれしかったです。
9. Himawari
メンのダンスに優雅さを感じました。流れに乗ってます。フィニのオーラがすごい。
MC テーマ「つまんないときどうしてる？」
寝てる、ゲームしてる・・・だとかいろいろありました。
ここで気になったのがウティ。3月20日公演を観たときにも、ウティは前田敦子に顔も声も似てると思いました。今回、声はあいかわらず前田敦子に似てます。でもちょっと痩せたのかな？かなり細く見えます。大丈夫かな？

この3曲はド迫力。あっけにとられ、見入ってしまいました。
私の前にお母さんと一緒の小学校高学年くらいの男の子。男の子が途中から立ち上がって、ライトスティックも持っていないのに手を振ってました。
MC 「何歳で結婚する？」
メンがその年齢を話すたびにファンが「おお~！」。ファンも気になるところなんでしょうね。
ノエラ 「みんなは私は25歳で結婚って言う」
シシル 「26~27歳」*とにかくこの子はMCがおもしろい。
タタ 「24歳」
シンフィア 「20歳」。アチャが「20歳のシンフィアは、私たちの17歳と見かけが同じく
らいよね。」って自虐ギャグを投下。
13. Yuhi wo Miteiru ka?
盛り上がっているのですが、ファンのMIXがいま一つ揃ってません。MIXが揃ったらもっとファンとの一体感が出るのにと思いました。
＊以前2chのJKT本スレでみんなに「地元のファンがMIXを変えちゃったらどう思う？」って意見をもらいJKT48Stuffに掲載しました。全ての意見が「地元尊重」でしたが、この曲も含めていくつかの曲はMIXが頼りなかったです。MIXが必ずしも必要だとは思いませんが、それぞれの曲の基本的なMIXを日本人ファンが現地ファンにアドバイスし、それから地元風にアレンジってのができたらいいかも。
アンコール
14. Lay down
これは期待通りのワイルドさ。ちょっと生意気顔のノエラはぴったりハマってます。メンへの声援が一番大きかったですから、現地ファンも大好きな曲なんでしょうね。
MC 最初の8人のテーマは「AKBに移籍できたら？」
全員が「そうなったらうれしい」と答え。
そうそう、リディアは答える時に「ホラ、私Twitterの件でやらかしたしさぁ」って自虐ネタを一言。会場大爆笑。こういう場を使って、「ご心配をおかけしました。もう大丈夫ですよ。」ってファンに安心してもらえるよう伝えるってことに感心しました。
後の8人のテーマは「いつもバッグの中に入っている3つのもの」
*ごめんなない！これはメモを取り忘れました。
15. BINGO!
16. Boku no Taiyou
この2曲の劇場の盛り上がり、最高です。メンの躍動感がすごい。言葉は出ずに涙が出てくるクライマックスでした。
【感想】
今回観た｢僕の太陽｣公演、3月20日に観たパジャマドライブとは比較にならないくらい完成されたものでした。3月20日のパジャマドライブの仕上がりが悪かったということではありません。しかしこの｢僕の太陽｣は、メンバーの躍動感、表現、そして全体の流れ、伝わってくるもの全てがすばらしかった。メンバーのスキルが底上げされたのでしょう。3月20日のバジャマドライブで目立っていたのが、タタ、ロナでした。しかし、今回は他のメンのレベルが上がり、タタ、ロナでも目立たなくなってました。
一つのセットリストは一つ物語ですよね。私が感じたのが「メンのパフォーマンスとMCがものすごくうまくなり、セットリスト全体に切れ目が無い」ってことでした。メンはこのセットリストを完全に自分たちの手中に入れてます。すごい安定感です。
私の目に映った彼女たちはもうKKSではありません。Team”K”がもうここにいると確信しました。

フィニは英語だめなんだ。英語上手いのは、ステラ、ソニャ、フェイあたりでしたね。レナはもちろんですけど。そうそうアーチャンも英語頑張るってしきりに言ってますね。
フィニも先行き、JKT48が”Go international”になる時の主力メンバーなんだから、そんなこと言ってないで頑張って勉強して欲しいぞ！

Oh,Viny is not good at English. As far as I know, Stella,Sonya and Ve are good speakers of English. Rena,of course! Well, Achan is continually saying that she is now trying to learn English hard.
Viny will be a core member of JKT48 soon,so she need English especially when they “go international” So,study hard,Viny!
Viny still a highschooler.. Most of the member that already in college understood english since most university/ institute books in indonesia are english literature (mine have some that still in dutch language..)
Unless you’re attending additional english course, intl highschool, have a foreign descendacy, or your parents intend to use foreign language as a daily language, you will not be a fluent foreign language speaker in such young age..

Well, I really think it depends on the person rather than the education or one grade itself. Yours truly here is an example of no course-educated English and no foreign blood at all
As for Viny, her interest in post-modern art and music could help her English very well. There are tons of English books out there about music and arts that she could use as a start for vocabulary gathering. The rest will fall on her environment. How she could take a good use of her environment to practice conversing (Hint: Ve..Ve..Ve..) and never to worry about grammar..

Oh, it’s almost same as in Japan, but we Japanese are basically shy to speak in English.
That’s one of our weak point…

For Indonesian high-schooler, it’s harder to comprehend the spoken one to written one. Most of the girl can read English, about more than half of of them also can write more complex sentences, and just a few girls can produce it verbally. So, if you are in doubt about will they get your words or not (and you think what are you going to tell is important), just write them in A4 paper and let them read your message in handshake.
Lidya also good. She said that she watched ton of English-spoken cartoon since she was 4 y/o.

Hi, guys. I’m a Japanese and I met Viny three times at RIVER handshake event and I talked by English… So, it might be me.
But if Viny was only nodding a head to me during handshaking, I would be heart-broken at my 2nd handshake and then I run away from FX building without 3rd handshake.
Her English was not bad. It looks she thought her own English level was poor based on her perspective about conversation. But Viny could answer to my questions and she also asked some questions to me. Moreover, she asked my name and she called my real name, ****-san, ever after.
It was a happening for her, but it was very good happening to me because I really enjoyed three handshake with Viny.
After the handshake event, I went to the theater and watched KKS’s “Boku no Taiyou”. During handshake session, Viny smiled and made eye contact with me and then she said “Hi, ****-san!! I remember you and your name!”.
HAHAHA. Good happening, isn’t it?
I say again, her English was not bad. I think that she just needs practice to talk with foreigners.

Anyway, I think that if we have multiple tickets for a particular member, we should use for one ticket each. By meeting repeatedly in a short time, the member can recognize us and becomes more friendly. Maybe, the member will say “hey! you come again?
“.

現状では、握手会の秒数ルールが徹底してないので、一度に全部出すのは勿体ないです。
1枚しか出して無くても30秒以上話せる時もあるし、複数枚出してもそれ掛ける秒数になってない事もあるようですし。
１枚出しにすれば、その枚数分かならず握手できるし、秒数も得する事はあっても損はしませんｗ
This is just my opinion but i don’t think Viny talking about you A(s)ce san. This is the reason :
1. In the article Viny say she met a Japanese guy who talked hard to her in Japanese and English. That means that he is fans from Japan who is not very good at english language. He talking to Viny by combining english and japanese languange so that what make Viny don’t understand. You say that you talk using english and i think your english not that bad based on what i see on your comment.
2. On your comment, you say Viny could answer to your questions and she also asked some questions to you. That’s mean Viny understand simple daily conversation in english like “what is your name, where do you come from, nice to meet you”. So if Viny can’t answer your question the conversation will end/stop at that time and you will understand that she don’t understand what you trying to say. I think that person is trying to say something to Viny using words that people don’t ussually use in daily activity which mean he use vocabulary words so that the other reason why Viny don’t understand it.
The point
Viny not talking about you, so don’t worry A(s)ce san. For other fans who also think “it might be me”. I think Viny just want to make your 10 seconds time with her worth. Imagine if she say “sorry, I don’t understand what you talking about” I’m sure you will feel disappointed. Viny don’t want to hurt your feeling so she keep smiling , listening every words from you, and trying to understand what you want to say to her even though she couldn’t understand it in the end . The problem is because fans only have 10 seconds time for each ticket so they have to talk very fast and in that situation sometimes the way fans spelling/saying the words it’s very bad. So i think it’s normal if some member hard to understand what fans trying to say.

Just be positive guys and keep supporting Viny if she is your favorite member.

I don’t worry and I don’t think that Viny exposed Japanese guy at the theater show for getting a laugh.
I really enjoyed handshaking with Viny because security person had forgiven 30 seconds or more for only one ticket. I don’t know exact reason, but 1st session of the handshake event was pretty empty. So I couldn’t care much about remaining time and I could talk to Viny at an easy pace.

I think what make JKT48 member different from other is because they don’t behave like idol even though they are idol. They may not be perfect and can do many mistake like falling while perform in stage, make mistake while singing and can do other stupid thing but many people still care and supporting them. It’s because people love their true personality not their idol personality. 
They share story about their activity, what they thinking, what they do that day and many more in the theater. It’s like daily conversation between friends, father and daughter, brother and sister. Same like other member, Viny just want to share story about her experience in handshake event that day and she doesn’t mean to hurt other people. You very lucky to get 30 seconds time A(s)he san. Maybe he give you more time because Viny line pretty empty or not so crowded at that time.

Hahaha well right now i’m addicted to boku no taiyou ^^ viny is really is an idol… Btw about kks, kks have a problem, between their first team and second team. What you saw on 2 june is first team minus hanna and kariin. I once watch they perform without their 3 aces (viny, yupi, rona) + some other first team (natalia and naomi) and it was a bad performance… The level gap is too much. The second team must train harder so they can match the first team
