Pajama Drive Senshuuraku Report – December 13th Part 2

Pajama Drive ended yesterday, and leaves us with a milestone for the girls achievement. Soon, a new stage will take over. But before that, let’s enjoy a fan report for yesterday show, and this time, part two.

This is the translation for the Shensuuraku show on December 13th from a field report by a fan. Thank you very much for PejantanTanggung from Lautan Indonesia Forum for the report.

And yes I know, these first paragraph is a copy-paste from the first part , enjoy the core report ladies and gentlemen

When I entered the theater I was surprised to see a screen on the stage that shows the Pajama Drive performances this far. I just realized that the theater have this awesomely cool projector and screen.

I was also taken by surprise with these so many cameras around the theater, there would be probably like 5 cameras. I instantly remember one thing: Pajama Drive DVD! Cross your fingers!

And boy oh boy, it was so crowded inside! All the fans busy relaying message for the Senshuuraku special encore call. We all agreed to alphabetically call the performing members that day one by one in the encore call session.

Shadow announcer, Melody. Her voice is so cute and crunchy. A friend of mine commented that her voice suited for a news anchor.

Overture, the audiences is getting crazy. This is what I would like to call “The heavenly chant Mix that giving me goosebumps in history”

Members came in, and it’s time for the sacred yell,

“J! Joyfull! K! Kawaii! T! Try to be the best! JKT48! Pajama Drive!”

Hey, they modified it a little bit! Can you tell me which parts they modified ?

Shonichi then echoed. I immediately paying attention to all the members that night. And it’s true, it’s all the members that were performed the Pajama Drive debut in May. Well, modified a little bit to compensate the graduated members (replaced by Rica and Gaby) and also no Sonya whom currently busy with her school exam.

Shonichi, Hissatsu Teleport, Gokigen Naname na Mermaid then Futari Nori no Jitensha. All was perfect. Almost no mistake at all. The members face were all like glittering angels. Their confidence that night compete and mixed very well with the audiences spirits. The girls were answering our call.

Today MC theme, as expected, is all about the Pajama Drive set list. And as expected, we see a live “One Liter of Tears”-esque MC session performed on the stage.

Sendy

She wasn’t that confident in remembering all 16 songs at a time. For the Pajama Drive unit song, what she learnt from the original AKB48 choreography is a little bit different in practice since JKT48 temporary theater, there’s no center middle door on the stage like AKB48.

Nabilah

After her jikou, there’s an audience who screamed her name like he saw a robbery or something. Nabilah spontaneously joked over it by asking the fan to cool down a little bit using her unique Betawi dialect which ended up with the whole theater laughed.

And before she could start her story, she cried. She tried to overcome her feelings by telling a joke that her tears wasn’t for the fact that she’s sad, but instead it was the tears of confusion since she didn’t know what to say at that time. All the the audiences laughed again. She’s really good at it isn’t he ?

She then told a story while crying. She said her unit song, Tenshi no Shippo, was regarded as the worst ever in history by the choreographers. She said that at that time, she’s cried all she could and totally lost for words since she thinks she already give it all she’s got for the unit song.

Melody

She already cried a lot at her jikou. She said that Pajama Drive is the story of the girls fights and the fans struggle. Pajama Drive is our (JKT48 + fans) journey.

Kinal

She said that when she saw Pajama Drive videos and saw Kagami for the first time she lost for words. The first thing she got in her head was “Eh ? Why running with the flag ?” . But it turns out the “Running with the Flag” routine is becoming her own identity as the “Mighty General”. Although she was at first admit that she kinda confused with the “General” nickname and ended up with her staring herself in the mirror thinking “Do I really look like a paratrooper military something !?”

Shania

The gorgeous Shania cried a lot. She sobbed and sobbed and sobbed that makes her hard to utter even one word. She said Pajama Drive is the proof of their existence. From just three songs, now they could do the whole set-list.

Rena

Dearest Rena was just the same as Shania, she sobbed so hard it makes her hard to utter even a word, I honestly never see this other side of Rena. She said it was sooo hard for her at first since she totally clueless about Bahasa Indonesia. I really couldn’t hear the rest of her MC talks since she sobbed so hard. I ended up biting my pillow and do the “Man Tears” routine when I remember this moment again.

Sonia

She boasted that she will not cry.

“It’s hard at first. Since we have to dance with power!”

“…..”

She cried like Niagara falls after that short silence.

Ayana

Ayana said that if 3 songs drained her energy a lot, what would happened with the whole set-list ? I laughed at her statement but then suddenly she cried.

“When we couldn’t do things smoothly, the senseis were mad at us. After that all of us would cry together”

Dhike

Dhike cried a lot today. She admitted that she felt under pressure since she was at first paired with Kinal and Beby who already got amazing basic dance skill.

“Kinal and Beby both are fast learner. While me, I’m kinda slow in processing the dance lesson,” Dhike said while sobbing. But then she regained her composure a little bit,

“What I’m gonna missed a lot is the Tenshi no Shippo oe oe chant,” she said while smiling.

Stella

The very strict Stella amazingly cried. Stella admitted that at their first show, she was reprimanded by the senseis since her dance was the worst among her peers. She was so ashamed and locked her self in the toilet while crying hysterically. She ashamed of herself for not being able to work out on her dance power more as an example for the young members.

“Pajama Drive is our proof for those who underestimated us, That we, as a team, able to do the set”

Ve

“If you saw the official diary videos, you could see our expression is kinda down at some certain moments. It was due to the fact that the senseis judged us not worthy enough for the sacred set-list. We all cried at that time. Please don’t forget all the memories you got while watching the Pajama Drive set-list okay ?”

Ghaida

“Phooweey, it’s really hard to be an Idol”

Then suddenly, 2 amazingly beautiful girls that sat right beside me screamed and yelled “GHAIDA, I LOVE YOU!” (TN : There goes my chance in getting those two girls…..I totally lost to Ghaida…)

Ghaida then continues,

“It’s really hard to do some time management. When the first time I heard the chant mix I was so surprised. Do those guys trying to cast some voodoo-ey things to us ? Caya Caya Foya Foya ?”

That moment..I..died..laughing..

Jeje

“When the first time I saw the blocking for all the songs….the first thing that crossed my mind was..Just kill me already!”

Said the unique anti-idol figure in JKT48.

“The backstage was like a battlefield with us changing our costume in seconds”

Beby

She said that she was shocked that she should remember 16 songs choreography in a month. She thought the first show going to be delayed, which is not happening.

Rica

Her eyes is so red that night. A short speech from her,

“Pajama Drive is my spirit..”

Ended up with her crying

Gaby

Gaby is the same as Rena and Shania, she cried and sobbed a lot even more than Shania and Rena making her speech inaudible for me. Poor Gaby….

UNIT SONG

Tenshi no Shippo : Nabilah-Rena-Sonia

Rena is towering the others. IMHO, Diasta should be there to balance the heights.

Sonia nailed this song, she’s cute while keeping it natural. Perhaps Cindy is the only comparable with her in this unit song.

Pajama Drive : Shania-Sendy-Achan

It’s hard not to notice Shania here. Her natural duckface while singing, thousands expressions, her dance movement, she really fits this song. Sendy and Ayana also did their best. Not even a single mistake. For the first time ever in my life, Pajama Drive with both powerful dance and in-sync movements.

Junjou Shugi : Dhike-Stella-Ve

Back Dancer : Gen 2 Nadila-Shinta-Rona-Thalia/Tata-Acha-Delia

And the stage is burning ladies and gents. Stella and the already known as “Hurricane Ve” was like a double hurricane that night with their hip movement. Even when they whip their hair, I’m left with my mouth beautifully gaping.

Although Ve made a minor mistake, no one even notice when seeing her expression.

While for Stella…. If the senseis now seeing your performance, they will be absolutely proud of you. But then, if it was your father who see your performance today, I think he will forced you to do confession in the church.

And at center, Dhike with her perfect bitchy expression as if saying to the audiences that you can see, but you can’t touch. She’s like a real pimp. And with her new hair-do, boy oh boy, white flag for us men.

Temodemo no Namida Melody-Jeje

Melody is good, but not as special as her last performance. Jeje owned the stage today. It feels like that I can feel the rain that chastise this song. I can even see clearly Jeje teary eyes in the whole song.

Kagami no Naka no Joan D’arc : Kinal-Ghaida-Gaby-Rica-Beby

It’s time for them to rock the show. In a mere moment, the stage was shaken once again. The melancholic aura from the previous song is gone. And this is the first time I ever see all those five soldiers performing like they were possessed by some fallen warriors souls. They look exhausted, their breathing getting irregular, but not even once they watered down their movement. They’ve already grown so much.

Be right back, I’m gonna locked my self in toilet and cry hysterically ala Stella now…

2nd MC session started with Kinal asking the girls their impression with the unit song.

Rica : Kagami costume is the sexiest of all -moan-
Ghaida : -Staring and pointing at Rica’s bare stomach and expressing her…err.. pervert-ness–
Kinal : Umm…why the moan ?
Rica : Well…perhaps this is due to the fact the we changed our costume without any coffee-break…

(TN : Sorry if I made a mistake in the above translation since the original wording is so ambiguous I ended exploring any possibilities that might happened and ended up with that..)

Beby : I learnt two blocking from the very first time. Kagami and Junjou Shugi. One is awesomely heroine cool while the other one is just random sexiness :P. [TN : Troll Beby on Action!]
Gaby : I learnt the song as a subs member. Kinda nervous at that time.
Ghaida : Ah Yes! As my substitute at that time right ?
Kinal : Gaby is amazing. She learnt all Ghaida’s part in just 3 hours.
Kinal : It was hard at first for me to insert the flag pole into the insertion spot. Sometimes the flag pole ended up diagonally. But since now I’m becoming one with the pole and I love the pole, the insertion process is no longer a trouble for me.

[TN : Kinal said that innocently without the thought that the fans there think of another kind of..insertion…]

Ghaida : From the very first time I suspected that I’m gonna get this unit song. I once tried practicing Tenshi no Shippo but ended up with me totally confused with the hip movement.

And after that, the Kagami girls read the other members impression for each of their respective unit song :

Tenshi no Shippo : The cutest!
Pajama Drive : We’re busy hugging Pajama Drive’s costume at the backstage.
Junjou Shugi : Please don’t forget our Sexiness!
Temodemo : We don’t wanna change the costume yet! We’re still in it and added with the fact that currently is the rainy season.
Kagami : The coolest!

Two Years Later and Inochi no Tsukamichi. In here, the members shows their rivalries. In this two song, all the dances, all the expression and all their voices shows they they are indeed have grown. At Inochi, just like the shonichi in May, Shania is the one doing the monologue “What do you want ?” with her impressive expression.

In just mere minutes, those dark expression changed into this naughty tempting personas. Kiss Shite Son Shichatta then performed. While in Boku no Sakura, the members can’t hide their teary eyes anymore.

ENCORE CALL

All the audiences yelled the 16 performing members that day. After the Gen 2 jikou, encore then started. The energetic Wasshoi J, the powerful Suifu wa Arashi ni Yume wo Miru and ended with Shiroi Shirts.

And after that, it’s time to read the fans messages from Facebook and Twitter and followed by bonus song.

I am happy beyond words when they performing Gomen ne Summer with 16 members formation. They are getting good at it, just a few more details to work on and it’s perfect. This time the center is both Melody and Stella.

After that, Heavy Rotation! When I compared their performance now with their debut….it’s like heaven and earth. All the members now doing it with all their might.

The girls still wasn’t stop there, the show should be ended but then again, the members apparently didn’t want to leave the stage yet. Like Nabilah who boast that her height soon going to be taller than Melody. But then suddenly Kinal realize something,

“Girls girls, these boys needs to go home right here right now, look at the time!”

At that time, we all realized that the central Air Conditioner is already turned off. A sign that it was already past 10 PM and we totally didn’t realize it. WHOA! It’s the longest theater session that I’ve ever been in to!

It’s time for the high touch session and another surprise ensues. Diasta is there! She’s currently busy with her college tasks and exam in her hometown Bandung. But she eagerly came to the theater waay from Bandung in the middle of her hectic schedule! I was both surprised and touched.

[TN : It took 3 to more than 5 hours from Bandung to Jakarta by car. And as we all know, Diasta driving her car alone]

From some live reports in Twitter, Haruka and perhaps Akicha was there too and watching happily from the FOH side. They didn’t joined the high-touch session though.
