Short Introduction of AKB48 Members Who Will Join AKBxJKT Concert

Here is the introduction of AKB48 members who will join AKB JKT concert. I must explain first that I’m not an expert of knowing all members, so for some members, I’ll just introduce nickname or so.

You can check for more trivia at Stage48 Wiki as well if you’d like to. As a side note, Call Name is what I’d like to call the name you can use when you call her in the “Chouzetsu Kawaii” chant.

Team A

Sakiko Matsui

Nickname: Sakiko-san
Call name: Sakiko
Catchphrase: Anatano DoReMi wo kanadetai (I want to play your DoReMi)

She is a student of music college. Famous for playing piano very well.

Ayaka Morikawa

Nickname: Aayaloid
Call name: Ayaka?Aaya?
Catchphrase: Aayaloid ha sukidesuka?(Do you like Aayaloid?) Fans”Daisuki” Hai,watashimo minasann no kotoga daisuki desu (Yes,I also like you so much)

Her nickname means “Aaya”(from Ayaka)+”Loid”(from vocaloid). She announced her graduation from AKB at 3rd February Team A show. Her dream is to become a model.

Team K

Rie Kitahara

Nickname: Kitarie, Rie-chan, Una-chan
Call name: Rie-chan
Catchphrase:”Aich-ken kara kimashita” (I came from Aich prefecture)

TeamK sub captain. ”Una-chan”means she looks like “Unagiinu”(famous comic character). She likes comic especially “One piece”, ”Meitantei Conan” .She likes eating, some members said ”She angry only when she is hungry”

Haruka Shimada

Nickname: Shimada,Haruka,Haruu
Call Name: Haruka
Catchphrase:none

She sometimes said self-torture joke like “Media sometimes mix my name and Paruru’s name” or “eating,fat topic” She is good at cooking ,cooking champion of AKB members at TV program ”Nemousu TV”

Yui Yokoyama

Nickname: Yui-chan,Yui-han
Call Name: Yui-chan,Yui-han
Catchphrase:”Kyouto kara kimashita”(I came from Kyouto), ”Kinkakuji yorimo kagayakitai”(I want to shine brighter than Kinkakuji(famous temple with gold leaf)

Team K captain, next Soukantoku assigned by Minami Takahasi. She really loves her cat”Bisu” and often put his photo on Twitter.

Team B

Natsuki Uchiyama

Nickname: Nacky
Call Name: Nacky
Catchphrase: ”Itsumo egao da”(I’m always smiling) Fans ”Nacky!!” “Kyoumo egaoda”(Today also smiling) Fans ”Nacky!!” “anata wo happy ni shitai”(I want to make you happy)

Her special ability is to memorize the Constitution of Japan. Then she published a book about Constitution of Japan.

Ryouka Ooshima

Nickname: Ryouka,Kusogaki,KSGK
Call Name: Ryouka
Catchphrase:none

She likes mischief. So, called Kusogaki (means brat). At “B garden”, she called “KSGK”=Kusogaki.

Saya Kawamoto

Nickname: Sayaya
Call Name: Sayaya
Catchphrase:none

I know little about her…But from fan’s report,her attitude at handshake is really nice. And now her popularity of HS is on a rise.

Asuka Kuramochi
Nickname: Mocchii
Call Name: Asuka
Catchphrase:none

Team B captain. She likes Pro-wrestling and baseball so much. Her father is famous professional baseball player. She likes reptiles,amphibian,especially frog. She want to watch Komodo, said so.

Miyu Takeuchi

Nickname: Miyu-chan,Miyumiyu
Call Name: Miyu-chan
Catchphrase:none
She is good at music,especially singing. She goes to the final of “singing competition” at AKBINGO!

Wakana Natori

Nickname: Wakanyan
Call Name: Wakanyan
Catchphrase: ”Siawase wo hakobu yottuno ekubo”(4 dimples which convey you happy) “anata ni siawase wo todokemasu”(I will convey you happy)

Her charm point is “ekubo”(dimple),so she using that on her catchphrase.

Rena Nozawa

Nickname: Rena-chan,Noza
Call Name: Rena-chan

Catchphrase: ”Rena hazukashikutte anatano koto mirenai”(I can’t watch you because I’m ashamed) “demo minna chanto Rena no koto mitene”(but I want you to watch me firmly) Fans ”Miru!!”

At Japan,she is a “ponkotsu” character. Because of her Japanese mistake or her episode which she talks at MC by herself. For example her specialty dish is “hot water”. That means she can boil water only. After the show, her handwriting impression is often corrected by Asuka.

Hikari Hashimoto

Nickname: Pikkarin,Pikka,Hikari
Call Name: Hikari
Catchphrase:none
She sometimes make “AIUEO” sentence. That means using name(human or things)’ first letter and make sentence.For example “Hikari” “Hi…” “Ka…” “Ri…” and make sentence.

Rina Hirata

Nickname: Hirarii
Call Name: Hirarii
Catchphrase: ”Anatano heart ni hirahira maiorichauzo”(I fly down on your heart ) “Hirahirahirade-Hirarii!!”

Growing up in the U.S.A, She’s good at speaking English. Or you can say that practically, English is her mother tongue.

Team 4

Nana Okada

Nickname: Naa-chan
Call Name: Naa-chan
Catchphrase:none

She is famous as “Majime”(Serious person). At AKBINGO! program “How serious Nana Okada?” When she was trainee, she made some rules for trainees by herself. Other members calls Minami Minegishi as ”Mii-chan”, but she calls her “Mii-san” because she is her senior.

Catchphrase:none

Team 4 captain. She is good at talking, often do MC at AKB concert. I expect she and Kitarie will play the same role at this AKBxJKT concert.

That is my short compilation of this introductory article. Hope it helps a little bit and you can always check the members wiki link I gave above for even more details. Aanyway, I met some of them at the recent AKB handshake event and told them about some Indonesian specialty food my Indonesian friends recommend me. Hope they try it and write something on their blog since I’ll be really looking forward to it.
