A Homecoming Story – Rena Nozawa

Our cute Rena went back to Jakarta for a very short time to joined her friends in the recent AKBxJKT Joint Concert a few days ago. She wrote her experience on her Google Plus page and y’know, her history with JKT48? Well, we were thinking that she deserved her very own post for that. So without further ado, a homecoming story of Rena Nozawa.

今日は劇場のあるビルでのイベントだよーん
Today there’s an event in the building that houses the theater!!

昨日はぐぐたす更新しようとして、寝落ちしました。。。（；＿；）

昨日は久しぶりにJKT48劇場に行って、
Yesterday I went to the JKT48 theater for the first time in a long while,

映画館でドキュメンタリーオブAKB48の上映会をしましたー
and in the cinema there was a projection of the Documentary of AKB48!

久しぶりにファンの方にも会えて本当に嬉しかったです♥️
I met the fans after a long time, I was so happy♥️

こっちは真夏ですよー
It’s the middle of summer here…

今日も劇場でイベントして、

今日は映画の鑑賞会のあと, JKT48 チームJ公演に出させていただきました！
Today after the cinema, I participated in the JKT48 Team J show!!

島田さんととなりのバナナと恋するフォーチュンクッキーをチームJのみんなとうたいました！
I did Tonari no Banana with Shimada-san and Koi suru Fortune Cookie with everyone of Team J!

とっても久しぶりにJKT48劇場に立って、チームJ, いや、同期のメンバーと一緒のステージに立った！
I stood on the JKT48 theater stage after a long time, with my team J…no, my same gen members!!

懐かしかったです。
It felt so nostalgic…

私の原点です。
This is where I started.

ファンの人が私の名前を沢山読んでくださって、
The fans called my name many times,

みんなで、キャッチフレーズしてくれて、本当にうれしかったです！
and everyone did my catchphrase with me…I was so happy!

感動しました！
Really moving!

これからも、コラボライブに向けてがんばりまーす！
I’ll do my best to be ready for the collab concert!!

今日はJKTのメンバーとAKBのメンバーとの合同リハーサルです！！
Today there’s the joint rehearsal with JKT and AKB members!!

大好きなJKT のメンバー、大好きなAKBのメンバー。
My beloved JKT members, my beloved AKB members, together…

私の大好きなメンバーばかりで、本当に私は幸せです！
Members I love all around…I feel just overjoyed!

明日が楽しみすぎて！！
And I just can’t wait for tomorrow!!

そして、明日は朝からダシャットでーす！
And tomorrow morning we’ll be in Dahsyat!!

今日はコンサートの練習で寝れるかな？
Today I have to practice for the concert…will I be able to sleep?

Hello everyone.

日本に着いたよー！！
I arrived back in Japan!!

寒いよー
It’s too cold~~

ジャカルタでのコンサート、本当に本当に本当に楽しかったです。
The concert in Jakarta was really really really fun.

ずっと夢だったんです、3年前のコラボコンサートから、また、AKBと一緒にジャカルタでコラボコンサートがしたいって。
It was my dream…since the collab concert 3 years ago, I wanted to to a concert in Jakarta with AKB again.

それが、まさか、今度は私がAKBのメンバーとしてくる日が来るなんて思っていませんでした！
But I would have never thought that I would participate in it as AKB member this time!

実は今回のジャカルタ行きがAKBに移籍してから、初の訪問だったので、いろんな思いがありました。
Actually, this is my first time visiting Jakarta after transferring to AKB…I had lots of things on my mind.

大好きなチームJ。
My beloved Team J.

私はもういないけど、もうそのまま進んでいた。
I’m not a member anymore, but it went on its way.

わたしのいなくなった場所には研究生からの昇格きがあって、
The place I left…there was a trainee promotion

私のポジションには他の子が入っていた。
and another member took my position.

当たり前のことだけど、心が押しつぶされてるような。。
It’s an obvious thing, but…I felt as if my heart was crushed…

そして、チームJは本当に本当に素敵なチームになっていた。
and Team J became such a wonderful team.

コンサートでは、通訳も含め、全MCに出させていただいて、
In the concert, partly as interpreter, I was in all MCs.

たくさんお話をしたり、曲中にあおったり、セリフを言ったりと
I talked a lot, called to the fans during the songs, said (monologue) lines…

初めてこんなにコンサートで話させていただけて、
I never talked so much in a concert before,

こんなポンコツの私が3000人の前でこんなに話してていいのかってとっても不安でした。
Is it ok for a ditz like me to talk so much in front of 3000 people? I was really worried…

もともと、MCが得意な方ではないのに、コンサートの進行なんて。。。
I was never good at MCs, and to handle the progression of a concert is just too much…

不安になりながらも、がんばりました！！
I was worried but…I did my best!!

ユニットはJKTのころやっていたハート型ウィルスのセンターをやらせていただきました！！
As for the unit songs, I was center in the unit I did in my JKT days, Heart-gata Virus!!!

懐かしかったです。
It felt so nostalgic.

そして、今回のコンサートでたくさんの方々にコールをしてもらったり、たくさんの人がれなのグッズを持っててくれたり。。。
In this concert, many fans called my name, and held items with my name on them…

私のことを忘れていなくって本当にうれしかったです。
I was so happy that they hadn’t forgotten about me.

本当に最高のコンサートでした。
It was a really fantastic concert.

人生で一番というほど楽しくって幸せな1日でした。
I could even say it was the greatest day of my life, because of much fun and happiness I felt.

本当にコンサートに関わった全てのスタッフさん、メンバーそして、ファンの方、こんな盛り上がったコンサートを作ってくださって本当にありがとうございます！
Thank you so much to all the staff, members, fans, for creating such an exciting concert!!
