Chikariina’s Blog – JKT48 Handshake Event
This is the translation of her blog post posted in Ameba.
Selamat siang!!
Yesterday, I attend the handshke event for the first time as JKT member.
Fans try to use Japanese or use easy Indonesian words, I feel the warmth of them.
And there are both Japanese who lives in Indonesia and those who took the trouble to meet me and came from Japan, I’m really glad that I can talk with them as well.
Japanese fans said that they enjoy Indonesia and that words get into my heart.
I decided to “do my best at Indonesia” once again.
Next there will be the “Kokoro no Placard” handshake event. I’m really looking forward to it.
The thing that surprised me is that we, the members, can receive gifts, letters, as well as food at the handshake event haha.
(Notes: In Japan, fans can’t give any gifts, letters at HS event. They also have to deliver them to theater. And food is strictly prohibited)
I receive Indonesian chocolate, Indonesian food, Japanese oolong tea.

I’m worried about my clothes, I decided to wear my favorite and also one that looks like Indonesian.
This one looks Bali-like? haha
And then, a request for everyone in Japan!
JKT48 calendar for 2015 will be released in a voting system where only the top 12 elected members will be allowed to join!
I want to enter the calendar selection!

The reason that i went to JIExpo last saturday is just to had Handshake with Chikarina..At first, i’ve arranged some words in japanese when i’m in queue. When i saw her closer, i realized that she was very cute indeed. She is very kind too, i said that i came to this event just want to handshake with you, and she replied with “Senang sekali, Sangat sangat senang sekali” . She said she will do her best in learning many indonesian word..hope more people like her more. Thanks

well i for one will buy 1 ticket for the next HS event .. . beside my oshimen Haruka ofcourse lol
) , but her english is good. so its hard for the local fans that only uses Indonesian to communicate with her . .. . . but i think she’ll learn fast, i think her Indonesian speaking tone is better than Haruka though. . . .all the best for her in the Future to come

Good to hear that.
I think it’s still gonna be hard for Chikarina to enter the 2015 Calendar Senbatsu, but if she work really hard (especially in learning bahasa and our culture), I think she can be another “hot contender” in next JKT48 senbatsu sousenkyo.

Unfortunately I have no acquaintance with Chikarina though,I know her best friend Mariya Nagao well.
When I meet Mariya at HS,I tell her about Chikarina’s impression.Then she can tell that to Chikarina.
