Too bad that your friend have to use Golden Bird service instead of regular Blue Bird and he/she has to pay more than usual. Most of times, our people think that foreigners are rich enough to use most premium service in our country and they will offer that kind of service to foreigners first without telling that service is the most premium one. I feel sorry for your friend trouble.

I’ve got some advice for you, I hope it will help. In Jakarta, there are two most recommended taxi available. The first one is the blue taxi with codename ‘Blue Bird’ and the other one is the white taxi with codename ‘Express’. In terms of driver capability, ‘Express’ taxi is much better because they have more experienced driver than ‘Bluebird’ taxi driver.

Everytime you get in into the taxi, please look at driver’s ID at the dashboard of front passenger seat. You can take notes of his name, ID number, and face.

You can use google map in Jakarta if you feel ‘lost’. Google map service is reliable in Jakarta eventhough is not as good as what i’ve seen in Japan.

    Thanks for visiting Jakarta. :)

      Thanks, Jvalz-san.

Yeah, at that time he took LCC so arrived at terminal 3.
Honestly I don’t know the layout of taxi pool at terminal 3, so he had to look for it by himself…

        Your welcome, Japarta-san. :)

I have to admit that our country is not ‘hospitable’ enough for tourist, unlike Japan. There are lack of map and notification everywhere which should help tourist while travelling in our beloved country if properly installed.

I ever came to Haneda and KIX, those airport are more ‘tourist friendly’ than our airport. Even, when i traveled across Japan, i felt that there are enough maps and notification that help me a lot to find direction and other things.

Under our new president, I think we can grow better in tourism.

I hope your friend not upset and still want to come to Indonesia.

Thanks, we’re happy to hear that you enjoy our articles!

Regarding to Mugi-Choco, I don’t think that any local shops sell it.
A little possibility is that Japanese supermarkets in Jakarta sell it, but I’m not sure…
It’s delicious! Once start to eat, we cannot stop it.

      And… Hehehe.
Maybe a Japanese girl will participate our next Jadilah Nekad tour. ^^

Yes I agree, I have seen some great pictures of some members using the Tongsis. I guess I should thank you too for giving some members the Tongsis so they can make wonderful pictures ^^
