JKT4okto8er – An Acoustic Tribute to JKT48

Rangga Pranendra whom often cover JKT48 songs on YouTube told me about this Acoustic Special Event from Fans to Fans as a tribute to JKT48.

Based on his interest to many local musician covering JKT48 songs shows how much JKT48 influences have spread. Name such as Rookie Boom, Saka, Patudu Manika, uniQly, OakTheory is among those who got recognition from the public due to their effort in covering JKT48 songs with their own arrangement. Thus, Rangga have this idea to create a place where they can cover the song live while being enjoyed by the other fans. AKA a Tribute.

“A very simple concept with the aim of having fun and getting to know each others,” said Rangga in his short email to us.

“I chose acoustic since it is simple and well, most of us covering JKT48 songs in acoustic”

“JKT4okto8er is the name of the event since October in Roman calender is 8 (Octo=8), so the event name itself is another word to say JKT48. Ain’t that cool?” state Rangga again.

Garage Bar (HotRod), JL.Pangeran Antasari No.19, Cipete, Jakarta Selatan will be the venue for the event. There will be no entry fee at all since the aim of the event is just for fun.

7 main performers will be performing in the event: OakTheory ft. Fikri Fauzan, WiraDiazPatudu, ArdiRifqi, Choco Miruku, Prabu Pramayougha, The Subudians and Afternoon Shift.
