Akicha and Her Schedule
As we all know, currently Akicha is back in Japan for a business trip back home. The main question is; with her going back and forth Japan – Indonesia and racking up her frequent flyer miles, how it will effect her adaptation in Indonesia?
This article is an opinion and concern from me about her schedule and what kind of side-effects coming due to her going back and forth in the middle of her “Study Abroad” plan.
Health
One of the foremost I could think about is how this schedule could give a bad influence to her mentally and physically. Going back and forth in every month could drain her stamina and mental to the point of no return. The recent case is that she’s getting ill after a going back and forth trip.
The trip from Indonesia to Japan took at least 8 hrs if the flight going straight to Japan without any transit.
Mentor and Study Abroad
Another thing to add is how hard for her to blend in with her compatriot in Indonesia. If her schedule keep going as it is, she will probably spend the rest of her time here in Indonesia finding it hard to make close friends. Added with the fact, there’s not much she can do as a mentor here if things keep going on as it is.
Since it was intended that Akicha will also learned about the language and promoting her culture while learning the local culture, The whole “Study Abroad” plan will probably ended just in vain. The worst case scenario is that she gained nothing beneficial or just an insignificant amount of benefit from the “Study Abroad” plan.
Adaptation
It will probably hard for Akicha to adapt well to her new environment in less than a month time frame. With her schedule, she will probably finds it hard to adapt to the weather and pollution level differences between Japan and Indonesia which could ended up with the first point, her health.
Having a big connection to the “Mentor and Study Abroad” part, Akicha will probably finds it hard to learn and adapt the language.
The Fans
Some fans just wanted to see Akicha in the theater and sometimes with her sudden business trips, they missed seeing Akicha in the theater. This could also have a significant effect to the Super Far audiences that have arranged their schedule just for Akicha; since sometimes, her business trip announcement is so sudden.
This could also probably hurts Akicha fans in Japan feelings. It is now harder for them to meet Akicha nor they could sense any benefit from the transfer if this keeps going on.
Conclusion
While I believe it is really critical for her to settled down for a few months here in Indonesia, there’s absolutely nothing fans can do now other than patiently waiting for her to return and settled down for the remaining of her “Study Abroad” plan.
Sending your critics to the officials (in this matter both JKT48 and AKB48) will results in nothing, I believe. Since well.., this is probably part of her contract with her agency that she needs to obliged.
My best interest and my prayer is that Akicha will gain something beneficial from her study abroad plans. Wishing the best for her journey in Indonesia.

well, she is a senbatsu right?
is not it normal for a senbatsu to have such schedule?
me not a big fan of her, but from what me read, she doesn’t seem enthusiast about this transfer..
maybe because of her shyness? or maybe because she felt that she used to be someone in AKB, and now got “kicked out” to JKT? who knows lah..
meanwhile, her fellow transfer, Haruka is.. well, seems happier in JKT than in AKB
Well..maybe the title is a little bit misleading, but this doesn’t have anything to do with her tight schedule tho’. Its more like a concern for her well being by going back and forth Indonesia – Japan in a short span time and whether or not she will gain something from this transfer
Angga,
Some Japanese JKT fans interpret the article that you are saying that your disappointed with Akichja and want her to leave JKT soon…Just FYI
Ah yes TKM-san, thank you for notifying me that.
Perhaps it was due to language barrier that somehow my article sounded like I’m disappointed with Akicha and that was understandable . Say my sorry if somehow the article offended them.
As I stated on my comment above, the article is my expression of concern over Akicha well being (her health especially) and whether or not she could gain something from her transfer which I hope she could gain much much benefit over her transfer.
Angga,
Thank you for your reply. I think it”s not because of the language barrier at all.
There are some JKT “fundamentalists” who don’t want JKT48 to have the transferred members,
and they-not sure if intentionally or not- are trying to mis interpret what you say.
I just don’t want you and other Indo fans to get confused with what these fundamentalists are saying.
cheers,
Roger that TKM-san. Thank you for the information and explanation about the fundamentalist
Angga,
I am afraid I had escalated the confusion, and got you and Tokyo Pop involved in it,.
I am sorry about that.
It’s okay TKM-san
This is all just some misunderstanding and I’m sure that surely someday the heat about this matter will dissolve in 2ch as well as a clear understanding about what happened. I’m pretty much sure Tokyo Pop would think the same too
yeah this is confusing. i mean the part where Akicha keeps going back and forth. already she’s lagging behind Haruka in terms of blending in and understanding Bahasa, now she lost more of that opportunity. albeit being a senbatsu and no doubt a very popular member of AKB48, the management should consider all this before doing a transfer; the ultimate aim why the transfer even done in the first place shall not end in vain “just” because she’s a popular member in AKB48. what’s the point of naming her a JKT48 member if she’s still doing half of her activities as AKB48 member? I hope to see more JKT48’s Akicha in the future.
agree, since she is a member of JKT48 now, her fans in Indonesia deserve to get more chances to see her perform in JKT48 theater…
