JKT48 Won Yahoo! OMG Awards 2012 for Best Group
On a happier note, JKT48 won their first award by winning the Best Group category award in Yahoo! OMG Awards 2012. Here are the videos of both their award gala and their performance.

First of all thanks to God the almighty, thanks to JKT48 Operational Team, Dentsu Media Group Indonesia and the most important one and our Raison D’etre, JKT48 Fans! Thank you for choosing us as the best group to received this award. Tonight, we have two AKB48 members from Japan with us that will learn together with us here, Takajo-san and Nakagawa-san. This isn’t the end of our fights, this is the start of our journey to become a much better idol group than we are right now, to become the number one in Indonesia and to go international!
