A : And what’s more…, they will go to Japan along with the HOOOST!! YAAY!
W : I know you are excited but please don’t over do it~
W : Well, I bet you are curious now, what will the girls do before they go to Japan
A : Hmm…you really wanna know ?
W : Of course!
A : Well without further ado… Here you go!
Gitcha : The preparation for this 2nd Generation are…well..we do the practice everyday since we all want the girls to reach a better points than before and we will need to show that the 2nd Gen could also be as good as the 1st Gen.
G : We have vocal training, dance and also physical training with special trainer. So we want them to get the hang of how hard it is with the choreography class and all.
G: Well, this is also our preparation for them to go to Japan. From a general scale, we already make them getting used to the songs tempo.
G : We don’t have any choreography change between Gen 1 and Gen 2 since the choreography are all based on AKB48. So the Choreography (for 2nd Gen) will always stay the same like JKT48 (the 1st Gen). There will be no difference at all.
Annissa Pontjo : We also teach them breathing technique, vocalizing technique for warming-up their vocal chord before performing or recording session.
AP : So you help your vocal by (putting her hands or her hip), that makes your vocal character stronger.
AP : For training uh…for the 2nd Gen we prepared them more for songs that we are going to record. Like today, uh…we are training for Boku no Sakura and Suifu.
Fay Ismail : We really never know Pak Akimoto’s criteria. He always have his own judgment to each members since he has his own view to judge a star quality from each child.

Stella : Well, they’re the 2nd gen finalist. And here in JKT48, it’s a long and bumpy road. So I want them to give their best so that they will be able to officially become the JKT48 2nd Generation.
Stella : And uh…soon they will go to Japan right ? That is sooo cool! We were like we..we..have to go through the audition process first while they will be able to go to Japan BEFORE the audition even completed. And in the 1st Generation, only like 16 members that able to go to Japan in one trip. This is a very big chance to the 2nd generation finalist so don’t you dare waste it okay ?
Jeje : Show them you girls could do it!

A : No! But relax babe, no need for jealousy. I don’t know why, but I suddenly keep thinking about one of the finalist named Thalia Ivanka.

W : Viewers at home, are you curious about Thalia Ivanka ? Here you go!
Girl H : Hello, My name is Thalia, I’m 13 y.o . When I was small, I really loved to sing and dance and due to that I was admitted to a Ballet Class. Aside from that, I also competed in a singing competition once, but I’m not really good at it so I failed at that time.
Girl H : I started to falling in love with JKT48 since their debut. I really like their song.
Girl H : I know about the 2nd generation audition from a friend of mine and after that I started to search for the information via the internet.
Girl H : I’m really happy when I received the call to go RCTI, but I was kinda nervous at that time looking at that so many rivals.
Girl H : I’m really happy to able to reach this phase, but I’m not yet satisfied since I’m still not officially a JKT48 member yet.
Girl H : My preparation is enough rest, since with enough rest, I will be more focused when training and keeping on my optimism
Girl H Mom : I really supported her, me and her dad really supportive towards her efforts.
Girl H Mom : Thalia, let’s go to your training place.
Girl H : Yes Mom.
Girl H Mom : My hope is that Thalia will be able to officially become one of JKT48 members and to be successful. My prayers would be that Thalia will be able to make her parents proud.
Girl H : If I ever fail the final phase…well…I’ll be upset but…I can’t drown myself in sorrow for too long. My life is still long and I still have a lot more chances in the future.

ウエンダ：ねえ、みんな興味があると思うんだけど、彼女たちは日本に行く前にどんなことをしているのかしら？

アジュン：じゃ、前置きはこれくらいで、早速いってみよう！
ギチャ：二期生の準備の状況は、いまはもっと上のレベルを目指して毎日レッスンを続けています。一期生と同じまでにならなければね。
ギチャ：専門の先生をつけて、ボーカル・トレーニングにダンスにフィジカルもやってます。ダンスはじめレッスンがいかに厳しいものか、彼女たちに体得してもらわないとね。
ギチャ：これは日本に行くための準備でもあるの。いまはだいたいのところ楽曲のテンポには慣れてきたかな。
ギチャ：ダンスは一期生と変わってません。基本は全部AKB48と同じです。だからJKT48のダンスをそのまましっかり覚えさせます。
アニッサ：ポントジョ：息継ぎやの技術や、公演やレコーディング前に音程を取るウォーミングアップのテクニックなどを教えています。
アニッサ：声を出すときはね、そう、こうするともっとしっかり発声できるの。
アニッサ：二期生のトレーニングは、いくつか楽曲を準備してそれをレコーディングします。今日は「僕の桜」と「水夫」を用意しています。
ファイ・イスマル：私たちは秋元先生の評価基準を知ることは出来ません。彼には自分の審査基準がありますし、それぞれのメンバーからスターの素質を見つけ出す見識を持っていますから。
アニッサ：「沈む夕焼けを～」ここ、ちょっとキュートな感じでやってみて、はい、声でキュートさを出さなくちゃ。

ジェジェ：そうなんです、二期生のファイナリストたちが劇場へ来るんです。
ステラ：ほんとうに会ってみたいわね。
ジェジェ：みんなの性格とか全部にとても興味あるよね。
ステラ：そうね、あの子たちは二期生のファイナリスト、で私たちはJKT48なんだけど、長くて厳しい道よね。晴れてJKT48の二期生になれるようベストをつくして欲しいわ。
ステラ：そして、そうだ、すぐ日本に行くのよね？ほんとすごいことだよ！私たちはとにかくオーディションに通らなければならなかったのに、みんなでオーディションの最中に日本に行くんだから。一期生の場合は、一回のツアーで16人しか行けないのよね。これは大変なチャンスなんだということをみんなは認識して、無駄にしちゃだめよ、OK?
ジェジェ：結果出してね！
ステラ：頑張って！二期生ファイナリストなんだから出来るはず！
アジュン：楽しくて、キュートで、ちっちゃくて、可愛らしい！ポケットにしまっておきたいくらい～
ウエンダ：誰のこと言ってるのよ？私のこと？
アジュン：違うよ！落ち着いてベイビー、嫉妬はダメだよ。なんでか分からないんだけど、ファイナリストのタリア・イファンカのことが頭に浮かんだんだ。
ウエンダ：そうそう！思い出したわ！小さくてエネルギッシュで！
アジュン：じゃあ、続きを！
ウエンダ：お茶の間の皆さん、タリア・イファンカのこと知りたいでしょう？では、どうぞ！
候補生H:こんにちは、私の名前はタリア・イファンカです。13歳です。小さな頃から歌ったり踊ったりすることが本当に好きで、それでバレエ教室へも入れたの。ほかにも一度歌のコンテストにも出たんですけど、上手く歌えなかって落ちちゃった。
JKT48はデビューの頃からずっと好き。歌が大好きなんです。第二期オーディションのことは最初友達から聞いて、インターネットで情報を集めました。RCTIテレビから連絡があった時はすごく嬉しかったわ。でも、大勢のライバルに会ったときはちょっとナーバスな気持ちになりました。
ここまで来れて嬉しいです。でも、まだ正式なJKT48のメンバーじゃないので満足していません。私の準備は十分な休養を取ることかな。十分休養をとって、トレーニングにもっと集中して、前向きな気持ちを持ち続けたいと思います。
お母さん：娘を応援しています。私も主人もあの子の努力をしっかり応援しています。
お母さん：タリア、レッスン場へ行きましょう。
タリア：はい、ママ。
お母さん：私の願いは、タリアが正式なJKT48のメンバーになってくれて、成功を掴んでくれることです。本当にそう願っています。タリアは私たちの誇りになってくれるでしょう。

Narrator : And this is the long awaited moment, the moment where JKT48 members will meet the 2nd Generation finalist.
Moderator : So this is the 1st Gen. And the 1st Gen, this is the 2nd Gen finalist. Please stand up and introduce yourself
Narrator : They all started to introduce themselves.
[Introduction Scene]
Moderator : So I will give you a chance to ask the 1st gen about anything you would like to know.
Girl D : I wanna ask about how to take care of your own health so that you can stay fit all the time.
Kinal : So…here’s a trivia, We really do have a near everyday schedule, and we have a lot of multivitamin and food supply here and we really should eat a lot [The JKT48 members started to laugh here due to the fact that Kinal does eat a lot and always reminded her friends to took the multivitamin all the time] and exercise a lot. So whenever you girls feel tired, eat or drink some honey. So it’s your own self-awareness to took care of your own body, okay ?
Girl I : I wanna ask about the changes you felt after becoming an idol
Melody : Well…for me personally, my basic is neither a dancer or singer. But now I able to do a little bit of dancing and singing since they also taught us how to dance and sing here. Well, Yeah, Now I’m able to sing and dance a little bit, not yet a pro level, but well..not bad I think.
Cleo : I wanna ask the 2nd generation finalist, how do you feel about being able to make it up through here, do you girls already satisfied or not ?
Girl J : I’m happy and also proud, but I’m not satisfied yet since I still have a long road to overcome, please wish me good luck~

Melody : I’m really happy that we met at last
Melody : They are really cute, and it looks like they are a much better public speaker than us
Melody : We were like “I…uh….uh….I…uh…” in the past but these girls are like “Hi! I’m blablabla”. So yeah it looks like that they are the better public speaker.
Nabilah : And they are saying “JKT FORTY EIGHT” smoothly while we were saying it “JKT EMPAT PULUH DELAPAN” back then in our audition…

Beby : And these girls really shows their motivation about how much they are really into JKT48. I’m really happy to see it.
Nabilah : Yeah, the girls are really showing their motivation to join JKT48, they have that fighting spirit, cute, adorable and they are really friendly towards us.

Girl F : Well, I’m a pretty merry person, but I’m a little bit shy meeting someone new although I could socialize easily.
Girl E : I’m a little bit shy but I have to be energetic in JKT48 so I have to try my best not to be a shy person again. And I’m kinda reserved, I’m the most reserved one in my family.
Text on Screen : What is your Dream or what you are aiming to be ?
Girl F : My biggest dream is to become one of JKT48 members as an Idol since I really loves dancing.
Girl E : I want to be an Idol and I’m aiming to be a famous and a worldwide renowned Mangaka!
Text on Screen : Thing you afraid the most in your life ? Have you gone through it ?
Girl F : Failure. Because due to that, what I’m dreaming for was shattered. I have gone through it while auditioning for the 1st gen, I was a failure. But I managed to composed my self and compete in the 2nd Gen audition.
Girl E : I’m really afraid of failure, but I will always try my best not to go through it for the second time.

But looking at how they answered the questions, seems like Sinta is a more no-nonsense, straight face, realistic big sis while Sinka is the cute, adorable, imaginative ‘lil sis to me. 緊張しちゃう！寒気がしてきた！一期生に会うんだよ～、こんにちは！メロディ、メロディ、メロディ！ナビラ！
ガイダ：私たちのこんな汗かいてヘロヘロの格好みてどう思うんだろうね～
ディアスタ：そうね、正直、私たちだって緊張してます。
ガイダ：あの子達はもう準備は出来たの？
ディアスタ：私たちは準備OKです。
ナレーション：待ちに待った瞬間がやってきました。いよいよJKT48は、第二期オーディションのファイナリストたちと対面するのです。
スタッフ：こちらが一期生の皆さんです。そして、一期のみなさん、こちらが二期生のファイナリストです。
ナレーション：自己紹介が始まりました。
スタッフ：ではまず、一期生の皆さんに何か聞きたいことがあったらどうぞ。
候補生D:私が聞きたいのは健康管理についてです。どうやって整えているんですか？
キナル：そうね、秘訣がひとつあるの。ほとんど毎日スケジュールが入っているんだけど、マルチビタミンと食事をしっかり取る事ね。ほんと私たちはよく食べるのよ。
（ここでJKTのメンバーは失笑、というのもキナルがいつも沢山食べて、常にマルチビタミンを飲んでいることを知っているから）
そしてたくさん練習することかな。疲れたらと思ったら食べるか、蜂蜜なんかを飲むことね。自分の身体をいたわるのも自分自身の自覚次第ね、分かった？
候補生I:アイドルになるってどんな感じですか？
メロディ：そうね、私個人のことを言うと、私はもともとダンサーでも歌手でもなかったの。でもいまは色々教えてもらったおかげで、少しは歌ったり踊ったり出来るようになったわ。そう、少しはだけど、まだまだプロレベルには程遠いと思ってる、まあ、そこそこというところかしら。
クレオ：二期生のファイナリストに聞きたいんだけど、いままでやってきてどんな感じ？満足している？
候補生J:嬉しくて誇りに思っています。まだまだ先は遠いので満足してるとは言えないですけど。応援してください！
全員：ハロ～
メロディ：さっき二期生のファイナリストに会ってきました。ついに会うことが出来て大変嬉しいです。みんなとても可愛くて私たちよりずっと喋りも上手なの。
メロディ：私たちの最初の頃は、「私は、あの、その、あの」だったけど、あの子とたちは「ハーイ、私は～ペラペラペラ～」って感じ。
ナビラ：みんな”JKT FORTY EIGHT”ってスムーズに言えてるじゃない、でも、私たちオーディションの時は“じぇーけーてー・よんじゅーはち”だったもんね。
ベビー：ほんとほんと（笑）
ベビー：あの子達は、自分がどれだけJKT48に入りたいかという気持ちをしっかり表現していたわ。それ見て私はほんと嬉しかったな。
ナビラ：そう！ほんとにみんなJKT48に入りたいっ！て気持ちを表していたね。前向きでキュートで可愛くて、ほんとにフレンドリーな感じだったよ。
メロディ：そうね、JKT48がこれからもっと大きくなって、もっと成功すればいいね。

エディリン：皆さん、こんにちは！私は今日、JKT48の「第１回公式ガイドブックサイン会」に来ています。クレオさんのサインをもらおうと思っています。
クレオ：こんにちは～、サインはどこにして欲しいですか？ここでいいですか？
エディリン：とても嬉しいです。クレオさんは私が候補者の一人だったことを覚えていてくれたんです！
クレオ：あら、あなた？あなた、第二期オーディションの６７人の候補者の中にいたでしょう？
エディリン：はい！
クレオ：合格出来なくて本当に残念ね。
エディリン：大丈夫です。まだ第三期のチャンスがありますから。
クレオ：そうね！
エディリン：パスしなかったけど、動揺したりしませんでした。これからも強い気持ちを持ちつづけます。だって第三期もあるでしょうし、必ずまた応募します！
エディリン：第二期オーディションで知り合った仲間には頑張ってと言いたいです。夢はこれからだから、ずっと応援してます。ガンバッテ、ミナサン！

ナレーション：JKT48第二期ファイナリストたちは、初めてファンの前で自己紹介をすることになりました。どうやら、すでにファイナリストにもファンがついているようです。

シンタ：私たちよく似ているけど、
シンカ：実際はいろいろ違ってます。
シンタ：そうですね、私はとても朗らかなタイプ。でも最初だけ少し人見知りするかも。
シンカ：私は少しシャイな性格なんですけど、JKT48に入ったらエネルギッシュでなければならないでしょう。だから一生懸命シャイなところを克服します。家族で一番控えめな性格なの。
字幕＝夢は何ですか、何を目指していますか？
シンタ：一番大きな夢は、JKT48のメンバーとしてアイドルになること。ずっとダンスが好きだったんです。
シンカ：私はアイドルになりたいです。そして、世界的に有名な漫画家になることを目指します！

候補生I:一期生と一緒にレッスンしたのは初めてだったでしょう。いつもテレビとか劇場でしか見たことないから、今回、直接会えて細かい所を教えてもらえたし。一期生のほかにも～
候補生O:一期生のほかにも、JKT48のファンの人たちも来ていたでしょう。ヘビーローテーションのレッスンの時、MIXが聞こえてエキサイティングだったわ。

W : Ajun, do you still remember when we were in the quarantine phase, there’s a contestant that was scolded by Kak Gitcha while she’s practicing ? If I were to be scolded like that, I’ll cry
A : You ? Cry ? Aw….
A : Yeah, I remember her, her name’s Viyona. She cried too at that time y’know. She was scolded and criticized with no end. But due to that, she got motivated to do more practice. And in the end, she could make it through to the final phase and will go to Japan.

Girl Q : My Name is Yona, I’m the first child of two. My Papa is a lecturer (in a nearby university) and My Mom is a teacher.
Girl Q : I really loves drawing, especially Manga.
Girl Q : Since a long time ago, I have this dream of going to Japan
Girl Q : My road from audition to the final phase is not easy. It still remained in my memory how Papa always accompany me to audition and training session back and forth from Bogor to Jakarta (Bogor is at around 60 KM/37 Mile south of Jakarta). And not to mention that I was scolded by Kak Gitcha.
Girl Q : My step was stopped. I was in despair.
Girl Q : Pa, I think it is best for me to resign from JKT48 audition…
Girl Q Father : Why resign ? It’s just a step once more
Girl Q : I was scolded by Kak Gitcha, I can’t dance well and I feel bad for you dad. You skipped your work, going back and forth Bogor-Jakarta until very late in midnight, Are you not tired ?
Girl Q Father : Of course not my child. I really support you and I will do anything I can for you. The most important thing is that you could do it. Isn’t it your dream to be able to go to Japan ?
Girl Q : Thanks Papa, I will keep my fighting spirit.

アジュン：君が？泣いちゃう？うわ…
アジュン：覚えてるよ。フィヨーナって子でしょう。彼女も泣いてたね、あの時はずっと怒られぱなしだったなあ。でも、そのお蔭で彼女頑張って練習して、最後にはファイナリストとして日本に行くことになったんだ。
ウエンダ：それってクールだよね。頑張った甲斐があったね。視聴者の皆さんもその経緯には興味があるでしょう。では彼女の涙ぐましい物語を一緒に見ましょう。
ヨナ：私の名前はヨナです。二人兄弟の上です。お父さんは近くの大学で講師をしています。お母さんも教師です。
ヨナ：絵がとても好き、特に漫画を描くのが好きです。
ヨナ：ずっと前から、日本に行くことは私の夢でした。
ヨナ：オーディションは私にとって易しいものではありませんでした。お父さんはオーディションやレッスンの度に、私をボゴールからジャカルタまで送り迎えしてくれました（ボゴール～ジャカルタ間は約60km）。だから、ギチャ先生に叱られたことも言えなかったの。
ヨナ：あの時、もうだめだと思いました。絶望でした。

ヨナ：お父さん、JKT48のオーディションもう止めたほうがいいと思うの。
父：どうして止めるんだい？まだ途中じゃないか。
ヨナ：ギチャ先生に叱られちゃったの、上手く踊れなくて。お父さんに悪くって。だって、仕事も休んで、深夜まで私をジャカルタまで送り迎えしてくれてるし。疲れるでしょう？
父：もちろん大丈夫さ。お前にしてやれることは全部してやるさ。一番大事なことは、お前がそれをやり遂げることだよ。前から日本へ行くのが夢だと言ってたんじゃないのかい？
ヨナ：ありがとう、お父さん。頑張るね。
父：父親としていつもあの子を応援してます。フィヨーナの夢を叶えさせてやりたいんです。あの子はいま、この仕事を選ぶか学業を選ぶかの選択に直面しています。
祖母：私は嬉しく思っています。孫がここまで来れたことが大変嬉しいです。

オガワ：そう、そうですね。
女性スタッフ：ここは原宿駅ですね。沢山おしゃれな女の子がいますね。でも原宿ではこのような格好をしなければならないと思う必要はありません。いま皆さんが着ているカジュアルファッションで全然ＯＫですから。

候補生R:ファクリヤニといいます。日本では私たちも先ほどの名刺が必要ですか？
オガワ：そうですね、学生はあまり持たないですね。
候補生K:アニッサ、デス。日本でふさわしい服装はどんなものですか？
女性スタッフ：時と場合によりますが、
オガワ：ここインドネシアと同じでいいです。礼儀正しくさえあれば大丈夫です。
女性スタッフ：そうですね、日本では礼儀正しくすることはとても大切です。日本もアジアの国ですから、皆さんもそうだと思いますが、アジア人は礼儀正しさを一番重要に考えるでしょう。
