Just another lazy author for JKT48Stuff whom mainly working with translations and sometimes writing articles about JKT48 with an obvious grammar problem. Was living his life as a JKT48 DD until...

One thing that has been bothering is whether the fact that AKB and JKT released the same single in the same time would cause a certain reaction from fans, especially from AKB and International fans? I had read someone commented that JKT48 shouldn’t have done that since it’s like dishonouring their older sister. Well, it’s only one opinion but I also begin to have the same thought.

    • FairFans says:

don’t blame JKT, because that release is order from Aki-P

then, please blame the Big Boss.

      ね~、分かったか、君は、、、

Honestly,i can’t think why people seems looked down JKT KFC
They not the decision maker, and i think JKT KFC more have power than the original(original have elegant)

    • razgriz2520 says:

Seems most people who complained that JKT shouldn’t released Koichun because it’s dishonoring forget about that it’s up to the management (AKS) to do this kind of thing  . Heck, even Sasshi, the center of the original Koichun, announced it that JKT will also release this single during JKT’s 5 City Concert by herself (at least a recording of her).

I’m know what they feel about this whole “release at the same date” and dishonoring thing but they need to remember the reason how they did this in the first place

      That’s just my thought

Hmm, i have my own opinion. this is not dishonoring the older sister. I think the management on Japan thought that JKT has a big potential as same as the older sister (i mean AKB). So let’ see positive side from this launching………. JKT will be known more worldwidely, the fans can have various choice to listen KFC, JKT and AKB can get more fans on Indonesia and Japan. From Haruka’s twitter, she went to Japan last night (maybe she get task from management to promote JKT48’s KFC).

    • Cl4p Trap says:

JKT dishonouring AKB if they release it before AKB does. What a joker fan

Sorry for a bit off-topic but JKT48 generates media attention here in Japan recently.Japanese business magazines or economic news papers compete to cover the success story of JKT48 as an icon of economic cooperation between both countries. All the more reason for many Japanese companies to consider it, because Indonesia is now a growing power in the world.

On the other hand, you rarely get the chance to see JKT48 on show business news in Japan.Nobody knows exactly what is happening in Jakarta. Only a few people like me focus on the growth potential of JKT48 and no more.

So,I do hope that JKT48 will get a break-through as a star also here in Japan by the simultaneous release of KFC this time.

    • You should translate some of those business magazine and newspaper articles, Tokyo Pop-san.

      • Tokyo Pop says:

        Oh,yes.
I’ll try it if I find an interesting article for JKT48 fans, but those articles make me feel all funny because you can see the image of Melo or Nabilah next to stock market index on the Nikkei Shimbun. As an aside, Rena’s father works for the newspaper.

    Richardson Kills san,
    Hello!
Now i’m translating one of the artikle, nikkei sangyo
Shinbun, later i will post it.
in these weeks, in Japan we saw several artikels about JKT48.

    • tomomo says:

that’s a good idea….. thanks for translating. I think many Indonesian want to read Japan Media articels about JKT48…..

Thanks for all replies on my previous comment. In my side, my worriness is not because I look down to JKT48, but merely for fans who sometimes can be overreacted about something like this. Even before the song was lauched some negative comments were already shouted out. They didn’t consider to wait and hear it first, but so fast to make an assumption. It’s really great to know both released the same single, like some kind of bonding moment, don’t you think? But the time was felt like risky, It’ll cause quite reaction.

But if it turns out to be good then I’ll feel happy for either of group. :)

    • FairFans says:

I think Japanese fans and Indonesian fans no problem with that release date, especialy about Harugon Center, they are all happy  .
But some overseas fans (outside Japan-Indonesia) have a little bit disappointed, and I dont know why…
Maybe they are too much fanatic about AKB, or just jealous with Indonesian fans. I dont know…
You know, some overseas fans assume that JKT is some thing like Aki-P “Golden Girl”.
Melody in New Ship  ,
some AKB concert in Japan with JKT participate,
Team K-III (many overseas fans disappointed about choosing number III, but HKT fans seems no problem with that number) ,
      Rena Nozawa’s transfer 8) ,
      and now about KFC.

      • Annie Tjia says:

There’s an international forum where I once had read some negative comments about JKT48. Though they said through their view as AKB48 and honest observators, it’s still disturbing that they regarded JKT48 in very low level. Comparing to other sister groups and digging their mistakes, even so far by calling bad names. I’m sure this Fortune cookie case will also be discussed so heatedly. Well, I personally have no problem, and many people also will think positive about this. JKT48 is a potencial gem that need to be given chance to shine. If those people, whether they are AKB48 or not, can’t accept JKT’s existance then it’s their problem lol.

        • Annie Tjia says:

Morever, keep talking about things in the past like Melody’s case, or fussing over anything involved with JKT negatively just to make it sounds like JKT48 exists as a product of joke, will show us that sometimes when people love their idols it can blind their senses to see any good thing coming from another figure. :)

        • FairFans says:

You know, Japanese peoples is very rare in English forum.
If you read some Japanese language forum, you can find maybe almost 90% Japanese fans is very support about JKT’s progress. 8)

Oo i see, maybe some overseas fans is still jealous, why Aki-P choose Indonesia to make a shimai grup of 48Girls.. 笑

Dont worry Sist, everything is okay..

          • Annie Tjia says:

Really? I feel silly now lol. I guess so, It’s just so amusing that overseas fans keep asking “what’s AkiP thinking? Why the hell did he choose Indonesia?” I wanted to laugh and say, “Why not?” but it won’t get me anything if I started arguing with them to prove my point. Then again, in Indonesia I even still find some people frown when talking about JKT48. Yesterday after making status update about Hitam Putih episode a friend gave me a link to Kask*s thread that talked about someone who was dragged by his wota friend to watch JKT48 on D*hsyat. A comment said, “wota is i***t, and i***t wota is spreading.” I was about to angry but it’s pointless anymore. Overseas fans’ manner towards JKT48 is like that, pointless to argue with them. So I need to take the advice from a reply in my previous comment, think positive :)
