18th July Charity Event Field Report

Hello Readers, we meet again with anakdekan, your loyal full-time JKT48 theater reporter and special show hunter, this time I’m gonna report the Charity Event which JKT48 held as one of the JKT48 Ramadhan Event series.

At first I was pessimistic to get the verification email since the lineup for this event are the popular members who have many fans, fortunately I get one, but since I received the email on 14:30 pm I have to rushed my way to fx (to catch break fasting time and of course the time when the ticket counter open). finally I arrived at fx 15 minutes before the break fasting time.

After breaking the fast and do the Maghrib prayer, I exchange my verification email and get bingo number 2, when bingo started lucky me my number called on the second time and I managed to secure the 2nd seat on blue chair, my seat is in the middle near the aisle between blue and green so I can get a clear view of the stage.

The event itself was late for about 20 minutes so approximately 20.20 or 20.25 the overture started

Present Members: Melody Laksani, Stella Cornelia, Ghaida Farisya, Jessica Vania (Jeje), Rona Anggreani (Ayen), Riskha Fairunnisa (Ikha), Intar Putri Kariina (Kariin), Jennifer Hanna, Dellia Erdita, Novinta Dhini (Nobi).

MC session and Jikoshoukai Ramadhan Style.

I couldn’t note it one by one since the jikoshoukai itself are very funny and make me laugh

After that the members held a game, same as the previous Meet and Greet games they have to guess a word while others do a clue by body gesture, but unlike the meet and greet which the doing it by team this time the doing it one by one instead.

Rona vs Hanna: Hanna failed to guess the word (the word is Kolak Asem)

Stella vs Jeje: Stella guess the word correctly (Melody)

Ikha vs Dellia: Ikha failed to guess the word (JKT48 Theater)

The failed contestant (Hanna and Ikha) has to endure the punishment they have to dance while the other members sang “Cinta Satu Malam” (One-Night Stand Love) dangdut song

Then the members do a talk show, the topic is pretty much about idoling stuff. The topics are

1. What is an idol?

The members take turn to answer this question and IMHO they do it pretty well to describe the definition of idol (although most of them is the general definition)

2. How to be a good idol? (Question From Nobi)

The question answered by Stella, the highlight is a good idol is someone who wants to learn and never satisfy for what she has achieved and never do the same mistakes more than two times

3. What should we do to haters? (Question from Rona)

In this question Ghaida and Jeje share their experience involving haters, it quite inspiring especially Ghaida who can convert her haters into fans

Games Session again, this time involving interaction with fans, the member split into two teams (all except Dellia and Nobi who act as the MC), the teams are

Melody-Ghaida-Kariin-Hanna vs Stella-Jeje-Ikha-Rona

The game is simple, the MC will announce the things she needs and the team has to collect it from the audiences (such as: Three driver licenses)

The things that MC need are: Student ID, Belt, Married Men and A man With Hat.

Stella-Jeje-Ikha-Rona Team Lost and have to face a punishment, they have to write their name using their butt.

And the time has come for Charity Auction. There are couples of thing that go to the auction (1 Yen=Rp 100)

1. Hanna auctioned her purple jacket, sold by the price of Rp 885.000 (8850 Yen)

2. Rona auctioned her Bracelet accessories, sold by the price of Rp 450.000 (4500 Yen)

3. Stella auctioned her skullcaps and two of her private photos, sold by the price of Rp 2.000.000 (20.000 Yen)

4. Melody’s Scarf with her autograph, sold by the price of Rp 4.800.000 (48.000 Yen)

Then alms box were circulated by the members to the audience while they sing Heavy Rotation with Jeje Piano Play Background Music.

Last song they all together sang Ponytail to Shushu, the crowd went crazy and some of them (including me) pulled out their lightstick and chanting, as a result of this I got an eye-locks from Hanna and Ghaida.

Of course as usual the crowd isn’t satisfied enough and asked the encore (some of them shout: ankoru..ankoru)

Then as waiting for the charity total counted members sang a couple of songs in a cappella, the songs are

1. Bingo (only chorus part)

2. Tenshi no Shippo (Cool duet by Nobi and Ghaida as they dance and sing the chorus part, and Stella promote the Pajama Drive revival show)

3. Futari no Jitensha (and the local chant “woyo woyo joss” shouted form the audiences)

4. Jujou Shugi, all members sang in a somewhat funny ways

5. Idol Nante Yobanaide, Higurashi no Koi, Manatsu no Christmas Rose are singing in medley

Total charity for today’s event (including the auction and the alms) is Rp 14.290.400 (142.290,4 Yen)

The event end with group photo and high touch session.

For today’s event there’s some of note that I could take:

The 1st gen still dominated the talking time, some of the 2nd gen especially Hanna, Dellia, Kariin surprisingly passive during the event (Hanna only half passive) and only talk when they have to talk. Only Rona, Nobi and Ikha were trying actively to get involved in the event while Jeje troll and punchline jokes made the event much more funny, especially when she acts as the auction master.
