RKJ Field Report for March 2nd, 2013

JKT48 Theater Renai Kinshi Jourei 2nd March Field Report (Surprise Shuffle and Live Challenge)

Hello , we meet again with my field report, this time I attended the night show on 2nd March 2013 for RKJ setlist, that leaves me couple impressions, the first one is a surprise shuffle, Cindy told in her twitter account the day before that she won’t be attending the show because she has a story telling competition and Nabilah suddenly appointed by the management to represent JKT48 for radio interview with Ghaida and Lidya (Trainee) in Jogjakarta and Semarang. Unlike the management used to do, there no announcement regarding who will replace them so I wonder who will replace them today, the second impression is the girls are taking the performance to the next level, almost of the song in the setlist are performed live.

I didn’t recognize her voice because she sounded very smooth unlike her firecracker voice she used to use, I’m guessing at first it was Dhike
After overture Stella perform solo at Nagai Hikari then the show runs as usual without anything special

MC 1 + Jikoshoukai : Finest Memory on February
Highlights:
Couple members said the same thing, that the valentine event and two OFC event (Futsal and Basketball) as their finest memory. Some other memorable memories
Rica : Her vacation with her old friends to Tidung island
Melody : her experience when attending the work trip to the village
Haruka : Go to Solo, Jogja and having a surprise birthday party
Frieska : Getting jealous for her friend who can vote for the governor election for the first time (she will turned 17 on 4th March, so she isn’t eligible to vote)

There’s some technical difficulties when Dhike’s turn, the mic isn’t working and after changing mic, she said “I’m annoyed” in her tsundere attitude and forgot her jikoshoukai, after doing her jikoshoukai, she told that she bashed by her friend when see her falling in the Wudu section in the mosque and tease her that she/he see celebrities falling
At last Rena wrap it up in a hilarious way, she said that she have been to Japan, Bali and Lombok…. Tapi Bohong (But It’s A Lie) (with her innocent voice) that make the audiences ROFL

Unit Song

Kuroi Tenshi (Kuroten): Melody-Gaby-Rica
Melody’s Mic is open and she sing the song live, her voice is stable although her dance is a little bit behind Rica and Gaby, maybe the effect of the absence in the theater

Heart gata Virus (Hagavi): Sonia -Haruka-Ayana
Sonia become a cute girl that match her crybaby personality here, she also get the solo line, Haruka’s mic is open

Renai kinshi jourei (Renakin): Ve-Stella-Beby
The best unit song of the night, three of them perform excellent, kudos to Ve who is still perform although she got sprained ankle and must use a decker/supporting knee pad, Stella and Beby singing live and their voice is remarkable and stable despite the complicated dance routine

Tsundere! :Sendy-Rena-Frieska-Dhike
I can say in this song Rena’s image doesn’t change at all, she still a cute girl (maybe she’s the most naive tsundere), She and Sendy singing live

Manatsu no Christmas Rose : Delima-Kinal-Frieska-Shania
The worst song of the night, but not in the terms of dance, but vocally, yes four of them singing live and I can see that fatigue effect their vocal, but I still give them credit to try sing it live

MC 2 : If you given a surprise by the person who you like
Highlights:
Rica would passed out, Ayana will said thank you, Melo depends on how successful the surprise was

2nd group song :

Switch
This time all the members sing it live and their voice much stable and also in good harmony, what an incredible performance

Marukyuu
Haruka, Melo, Rica, Dhike,Stella mic opens and their sing each line. I’m really surprised to hear my oshi’s voice (Rica) outside the MC session, she had a really good singing voice

Hikokigumo
Ah the song that make the audience jump out their seat and chant loudly, since it so loud I can’t determine if they sing it live or not

MC 3: (first session) : If you get confessed by a boy but your mama tells no what will you do?
Sonia : I must obey mama’s order
Stella : If he want to wait me, then be wait me, but if he doesn’t want well it’s okay
Delima : Backstreet, but if he want to get the status up, wait two years later
Frieska : Just be my close friend
Haruka : I have a lot of boyfriend, that is the fans
Haruka act silly from the beginning of the MC session, Kinal have to said that we should pull out Haruka’s battery to shut her down. After that some funny conversation happen between Haruka, Shania, and Stella
Shania : Haruka will you come with me?
Haruka : To Komdaku (she means Komdak, the police headquarter in the Semanggi area)
Stella : Komdak? What’s in there
Haruka : There is Bencong (trannies)
Stella : You bencong
Haruka : Cici, bencong
Stella : You dare?
Haruka : Okay I’ll leave
(she really leave, and the rest of the members call her but they give up after several attempts, after they leave the stage Haruka appears with the remaining members and disappears to the backstage afterwards)

(second session)
Topic : If you’re in the fairy tail what fairy tail you’ll be in?
Ayana : Sleeping Beauty
Rica: Bawang Putih (I can find the similar story in western fairy tail)
Kinal : Mulan
Rena : Nemo (then kinal teases her, that she’ll get fried and eaten, but she insited that clownfish can’t be eaten)
Melo : Belle on beauty and the beast
Ve: Hercules’s girlfriend but she forgot her name (again all the members teases her as Astuti, a song title which is popularized by Agung Hercules, a dangdut singer)

Ano Koro Sneaker
They sing live and the moment of silence make the song more clear and the crowd feels the song lyrics

Encore: usual encore
JKT Sanjou!
Another surprise by team J by sing it live. After just rest for approximately 3 minutes, they doesn’t seem tired and their vocal and dancing very very stable, and it’s getting better and better as the crowd give their support, wow what a stellar performance from them

Namida no Shinkokyu
Continuing their excellent performance they done the dance perfectly although they not sing it live, but is okay since they giving all they got in previous song

Oogoe Diamond
Stella and Haruka Mic are open this time and they ended the show perfectly, the hi touch goes as usual.

For me personally this is the best RKJ show I’ve ever seen. I believe that the girls are on the process for making something big and I believe that in not a very long time they’ll perform RKJ setlist in full live performance. So for those who until now watch RKJ setlist, I recommend that you should watch it at least once because you doesn’t want to miss the girls growth. Also I urged you to watch Pajama Drive and support the trainee, since they’re also in their growing period (although not as fast as Team J)
