Aki Takajo “Delivering the wind from Jakarta”

Interviewer: What is your impression about Sousenkyo’s result?

Aki: My quick count rank report was 37th, I heard that and thought “This year I can’t do it?”. So, when my name called at 20th, I feel relieved and also feel “frankly speaking I can do more?”. Though my rank is down from last time, I feel happier than last year. Because of course I can’t meet fans at Japan for more than half a year, I can’t meet fans at handshake event, I felt so uneasy. Despite this many people voted to me, I’m so glad. Though saying about ”change of generation” I realized that “people who support me continuously” with gratitude and that feels encouraging.

Interviewer: You worried about your lack of activity in Japan when you decided to join Sousenkyo?

Aki: Yes. I consulted with Harugon(Haruka Nakagawa)immediately, after the officials announced the system. Harugon said “I don’t participate because I want to concentrate myself to JKT48”. On the other hand, I decided transfer because I want to deliver Japanese Idol culture to Indonesia and I want to become a bridge which connects Japan and Indonesia. To achieve that purpose, I have to have my presence in Japan (and Indonesia) simultaneously. So I decided to participate with knowing this Sousenkyo is hard for me. Now I have many fans in Indonesia, and also I can’t forget Japanese fans who support me continuously since my debut. It’s greedy but I want to make situation that fans in both Japan and Indonesia pleased .I’m not skillful,so I might not doing it equally. But I belong to JKT48 and a concurrent member of AKB48.

Interviewer: Well,you do double team with Team B from spring.

Aki: I joined Nissan Stadium concert for the first time as Team B member. Many people told me “feel strange” because they have strong image that I belong Team A. They have a feeling of wrongness when I sing “Team B oshi” lol. I should get used to Team B so that people will tell me “you match to Team B” lol.

Interviewer:Your target after this?

Aki: I can grow up as human last year lol. Last year my rank was 17th, I think: what should I do? and decided to transfer at summer. Before that I’m thinking “what I am to be now as Senbatsu member?”. But then I have my time, I face myself, study about fashion, improve physical at gym, it’s good for me to improve myself. This year I want to work only by myself. I want to release portfolio!! I will exert Aki Takajo’s individuality by make a good use of my activity in Indonesia!!
