Rena Nozawa Transferred to AKB48
AKS (AKB48 Management) Announcement :
From AKS announcement.
“Rena Nozawa” 1st gen of JKT48 and also belonging to Team J will return back to Japan where she will double team with AKB48. Announced in June 18th at JKT48 theater in Jakarta as surprise.
She is the first member who double team from overseas groups to AKB48.
And Rena Nozawa will still continue on with JKT48 Team J activity.
Rena Nozawa’s parents are Japanese. She passed JKT48 1st gen audition at November 2011. She started her activity in JKT48 as the only Japanese member. Until Aki Takajo, Haruka Nakagawa transferred to JKT48, she leads JKT48 as Team J member with them.
Announcement was made for fans at JKT48 theater, since she’s regarded very dearly there.
Which team she will belong at AKB48 or about her activity, when detail decided, we will announce.
The local officials have just issued an announcement that doesn’t differ much from the AKS one on their website.

The first time that a member from overseas sister group gets double position in AKB48!
In relation to the fact that Rena Nozawa, JKT48 Team J, has to return to Japan, it was announced in JKT48 theatre on Tuesday, 18 June 2013, that Rena Nozawa will be undergoing double (concurrent) position in JKT48 and AKB48. This is the first time in the history of 48Group whereby a member from overseas sister group gets a concurrent position in her original group as well as in AKB48. Nevertheless, Rena Nozawa will continue her activity as JKT48 Team J member as usual.
Rena Nozawa, whose parents are both of native Japanese origin, passed the final round of JKT48 first generation audition in November 2011, and she became the only Japanese member at that time. Later on along with Aki Takajo and Haruka Nakagawa from AKB48, Rena became the members of JKT48 Team J.
As Rena highly regards the importance of conveying this news personally, the announcement was made directly towards the fans at JKT48 theatre.
Information regarding Rena Nozawa’s (AKB48) team and planned activities will be announced on a later date.

So, from this annoucement the good things that I was waiting for is the gravure from the only one original JKT48 member, if Rena Matsui should get one or two pages for gravure, why not for Rena Nozawa? I know She still too young but when the time has come, she should follow those Idoling strategy to could to be survive.

And the reaction of 2ch people is interesting. Most of them feel seriously depressed. Why so?Rena will come back here soon? Is it truly something to celebrate? Why so sad? That means Japanese JKT48 fans,myself included, find our “home ground” in Jakarta,not in Japan,I think.

Few of them already performing in rkj setlist several times right? Maybe that was also to prepare in case stuff like this happens..
Plus, most of jkt girls saw 48groups only as a place to distribute their talent (most of them dream about became something outside entertainment world)
I am still in shock – it’s like hearing a graduation announcement in a minor scale : bigger part of mine – which is emotional – is not ready to see her go. I once said that I will lament for every team J member that leave the group – whether it is graduation or transfer – and I did. It is said that it is a concurrency, but I feel (and think) it is more a toned down term for transfer. I wish your luck and success, Rena-chan. GanbaRena !
It is a little bit hurting me to say this and doesn’t mean that I’m skeptical but…
She’s 15, she has schools to attend, her parents now moving back to Japan -permanently- which means the likability of her coming back here frequently is at the very low. And logically, not long will we have to wait for a permanent transfer. Although I believe (and hope) Rena would like to stay with her concurrent role knowing how much she love JKT48.
Just like you said, “Transferred” is a toned down version of a farewell.
But nonetheless, I am oh so very, very glad that this is a concurrent role. Which means, Rena could open the way for international audiences to see more of JKT48 represented by Rena and hopefully could open the door for the local girls from both JKT48 and SNH48 for a chance of overseas transfer in the future to gain more experiences albeit some lulz from some purists
Rena can be the heroine of Asian 48 world. She will become the new girl who knows two cultures as the 48 group member. Sure Akicha, Gon, Sae and Maria know 2 cultures. She can show what does the word “international” mean for all 48 girls around Asia. Especialy for AKB members, Rena will be an evangelist of JKT culture for all around Asiia. I think JKT is a truely international group. i.e. Rena can use English, Bahasa and Japanese. Ve and Stella also can use beautiful English. Sonya can use Mandarin so well. I can’t find this kind of scene among AKB. I hope Rena will be an effective trigger for the other AKB to be ready to learn, at least language. at least English, then fly to all over the world as AKB world tour, for instance. As you can see, AKB has many club activities, such as “Car(licence?) Club”. Please, Rena, generate “English Club” in AKB with the help from Akimoto Sayaka (she can use English, am I right?). I recomned Rena to be the best teacher

But I think Rena chan has a chance to be a attache in Tokyo for “JKT48 missions”. Rena chan will try various missions that ordered in Jakarta in Tokyo. Uuuuum.
