Path to Tokyo Dome

“Oyasuminasai! Itadakimasu!” Yukka says her greetings in Japanese. As a required subject since her first year in high school, she has been studying Japanese. “I like Japan. I just started Japanese. It feels so new; it’s fun,” she says. She’s studying hiragana and katakana and practicing basics such as introducing oneself now in class. “I’m beginning to be able to read simple sentences.”

She’s also interested in pop culture, such as manga and anime, and Japanese cuisine like tempura.

Every day she balances her studies with JKT activities. “Whenever I feel down, I read manga to cheer myself up.” The places she would like to see in Tokyo are the Skytree and the Tokyo Dome. “The Tokyo Dome is an important place for AKB48. it’s a stage I aspire to stand on,” she added with her straightforward and honest eyes.

Hello, my name is Rizka Khalila and people call me Yukka. I am 15 years old. People say that I am a quiet person. Actually I am not. By the way, I really love lollipop and all pinky stuffs.

My motivation to be JKT48 member is to develop my dancing and singing talent, also to make my parent happy and to be an inspiration for many people.
