    This news is saddening… not only that it was one of the most important Japanese festivals in Indonesia, but it also one of JKT48’s earliest stage before they even had their own theater. I’ve attended the festival once, and it is very memorable. Too bad that such great event had to be halted just because of bribery issues.

    I guess that is what happened when corruption and ‘premanism’ had formed root inside the government…

    why insist on Jakarta ? why not the comitee goes to Surabaya ? i’m pretty damn sure that they wont have problems like that, and Surabaya also has J Culture comparable to Jakarta

      me also wonder, even if it has to be in jakarta, why must in Blok M? or maybe because the image of Blok M as little tokyo?

      why not in Monas? or kemayoran? from me still a kid, DMC area were known as the “home of the southern mob”.. it is not surprising to hvae this kind of news from DMC..

    縁日祭は毎年楽しみにしていたので 少し(かなり)悲しくなりました。
    インドネシアの「まつりごと」についてはあまり口出しするつもりはありませんが

    最近、たまたまですが連続でインドネシアにて賄賂を要求された記事を読みました。
    そのような習慣が根付いているなら変えていくのは大変だと思いますが、
    みんなが楽しみにしている行事がこのような形で終わらなければならない事に驚くと共に、
    怒りに近い感情を持ちました。
    もし、インドネシアの皆さんが賄賂を要求することが良くないと思うなら、ぜひこの悪しき習慣を変えていってください。皆さんにはその力と勇気があると信じています。
