OMEDETOU! JKT48. The girls made such a tremendous achievemnt during just only 2 years. I can’t find out any convenient explantion on this fact.
In one previous post, some one used one word “colonization”. Bisides this word, I have another word “encounter”.
It always lives between 2 diffrent nations and their cultures. During my everyday business life, I always say “Thank you” for many encounters.
New customers? With one young just graduated and energetic sales person from one factory? Anything is OK. I love to say “Thank you” for every encounter.
During the trade show in Jakarta Convention Center, Mid. of Dec., I was supported by many Indonesian new friends whom I encountered in the trade show.
Even now, we are comunicating everyday by phone and also e-mails. “Encounter”. Not to colonize. JKT48, sure, they were born from a part of AKB originally.
But, from my point of view, JKT48 are highly independent girls. If I don’t worry some ones criticism, I believe JKT48 is the different one from AKB48.
And when I think like this, I always feel honor. The girls are my honor. They are great. Be respected. JKT48 was born from the “encounter”. Indonesia and Japan. You and us. I chelish my “encounter” which I met at JCC and have been trying to grow for ever. In another project, I am discussing with a factory located at Semarang. I am enjoying this new “encounter”. I am excited to meet any new “encounters” at each step. Sometimes, can go forward, but sometime, have to be back. But “encounter” is “encounter”. I feel tremendous honor of “encounter” between your culture and people and our staff.
JKT48. They are the icon. The icon of our both “encounter”. Go international! JKT48 cannot stand still at 2nd annivversly. They must go towrd the new journy to “encounter” with any other people and cultures. I cross my finger to supprt you all, JKT48. Again “Selamat”.
Haha…..so many “encounter”. You’re right that the girls made such a tremendous achievement during just only 2 years. My hope for the girls after this and especially 2014 is that they can conquer the ASEAN. Oh, and I hope that they doing the concert in Singapore (finger cross). Hope the girl can “encounter” more fans around the regional or world.
note: hope that my “encounter” with the girls been more exciting. Hope get new oshi maybe in 3rd gen..haha
KEN san. I can understand what you want to say. But let us do not use the word “conquer” or “colonize” something like that. Because we cannot compare which one or culture is better that the others. And more, why do we have to conquer any other cultures? Let us “encouter” and generate “chemical/cultural reactins”. Also BIMA is the good icon between us. Did some one conquer some one else?
Owh, sorry if I offend you Mr. Tomo, but “conquer” in my context means that they can do a music breakthrough throughout the region but I think you understand that. You know what, I don’t think that one’s integrity is worth than another. I know a little bit of Japanese and Indonesian culture and I think that these two cultures have their own colors and characteristic that make them beautiful. So. we should respect that and try to conserve it for the future generation to see.
BTW, I’m not an Indonesian and I don’t understand BIMA and hope someone can make a subtitle for someone like me. I think we became a bit sensitive about this topic ever since “that one comment” in the article before..
