    • zakky26 says:

Cowcow is th japanese comedian duo who invented the atarimae taisou or translated in indonesia as “Senam yang iya iyalah”..

Is Cowcow famous in Japan? Does “Cow” here mean “sapi”? I saw them on “YKS” a few days ago. But i didn’t know who they are, until i read this post.I also saw “atarimae taisou” performed by them on YKS. Pretty good, i think. So funny.

I forgot whether it was YKS or OVJ.

COWCOW is famous in Japan, and many (young)people know about “Atarimae Taisou”.
But frankly speaking, just “temporary”boom, and now not so famous compared with their peak.
So,I’m surprised that they are famous?(Aki written so)in Indonesia.

Well, it all begins when COWCOW made the Indonesian version of Atarimae Taisou (I got it right, didn’t I?) called ‘Senam Yang Iya-iyalah’. At first, it didn’t really got much attention from anybody. But then Twitter made the video mainstream, mainly due to it being extremely funny for most Indonesians especially college students.

Like a chain reaction, it spreads from a person to another, from a Twitter account to another, until it finally reached a local TV Station.

iiiieeee… they are not famous here :))

basically the five-minute-fame = youtube it, share it with friends, tend to forget it the next day…or even few hours after.

I think they’ve quite made an impact in Indonesian social network for weeks, the video has been watched for more than 2 million views, quite popular, but i guess not as famous as “goyang cesar”
