Too bad that they didn’t make it on AMI Awards at the day before the final concert. If they did, the concert would be the REAL victorious culmination of their achievements. And to make it worst, their rivals, Coboy Junior and Cherrybelle, all of them got the Award. Chibi even has managed to have it twice. Guess our girls’ luck has run out eventually.

calm down dude. No teasing to the other groups please (we know that Indonesian fans are mostly sensitive)
High-class group requires no low quality fans :)
And about the awards, old saying: “ants eat fish during the flood, after the flood of ant eating fish.”
Everything has its own time. we just have to be wise and patient dude :)

      • eyelessdemon says:

sorry, it should be: “When flood comes, fish eat ants & when flood goes down, ants eat fish”
        my bad ..

I’m sure JKT48 will win AMI Award based on the result when JKT48 win KLIK! Awards 2013 and Indonesia Kids’ Choice Awards 2013 with huge difference/gap in voting from other nominee like Coboy Jr Cherrybelle, and SMASH. It seems my prediction was wrong. I hope this result will motivate JKT48 member to become more better than others group/band and win AMI Award next year.

      dude..

who cares about local award if they can storm international society? :D :D

appearing in TD, shook up Budoukan, even having acknowledgement from J-AKB fans..

if me, that’s worth more than that so called AMI..

besides, for some people (like me), most of the winner in AMI is still a question mark..

    • Voice of Indonesia says:

who cares about AMI, if that girls can conquer the world.
remember The Raid: Redemption? rank 11th Box Office Hollywood !!!
and they didnt get anything from FFI Award….
dont regret a small fish, if U can get the Big ones… \[^0^]v

JKT has no rival. And your guess is wrong, JKT doesn’t need luck because they already have hardworking attitude and loyal fans. Twiboys like you need more luck.

    • Suhendar says:

me personally don’t think JKT48 suitable as AMI Winner. If i run the awards i won’t choose JKT48 for the winner as well. the idea is you can’t give McD or BK as the best national burger because its not originally from indonesia. all JKT48 songs still use AKB translate songs, music production still dominate by parent management so i don’t see any reason JKT48 suits the award. maybe in different circumstances when JKT48 have their own song, and many more indonesia element adopt in JKT48song’s include production, JKT48 will deserve the awards

      • Torque says:

If they felt JKT48 was not ‘suitable’ for the award, they wouldn’t nominate the group in the first place. ;)

But then again I didn’t (and don’t) hope for JKT48 to win this so-called prestigious award, well, because hello, I guess it’s not so prestigious anymore after all the internet posts about the award, revealing its stupidity and useless-y, is it? :D

I guess you don’t need to worry about JKT48 not winning AMI. I’m not saying it’s a bad award; despite the errors and credibility matters, it IS, in fact, the most important award for Indonesia’s musicians. In my honest opinion, JKT are just not up for this scale of award. At least for the time being.

Take AKB’s example. They got their first JRA after 5-6 years since their formation. And since JKT48 are pretty much paving a similar way like their eldest sister, I do not expect them to bring back the AMI Trophy for this year. They still had more things to achieve until they can be considered worthy of the award.

JKT48 is still young; they are only 1 and half year, but they already shook Budokan, and already having their first concert at Tennis Indoor. But, this is not enough if their aim is the top of the hill. There is still a long way to go for them to reach the top. And as long as that hill had not been humbled, they must continue climbing it.

One day, I believe, they will deserve the achievements that are unreachable for any other Indonesian artists.

it still far from climax.. :-D

what the reporter wrote (hardcore fans, rock concert attitude, list goes on..), personally to me, is only few small part..

sadly, the reporter only made a bit review about the relation with business.. (still understandable, consider they trying to emphasizing in the concert)

JOT should read this tho.. considering few more years, member like Ve, Melody, Rica is already mature (if not old) enough.. they really need a regeneration..

at the last, me agree with the reporter.. maybe all we need to do is just enjoying it..

the ugly bud will keep blossoming into a beautiful flower, untill they moment of end came..

I think JKT still have long way to get more popularity…
And i want some company in Indonesia can record artist/band CD sales,so they can know “How much their hard work is payed” :-P

  4. Torque says:

JKT48 as a group still has a long way to go through, and hopefully through a good and nice path. Let’s hope we’ll see an even bigger scale of concert sometime soon!

PS: I still dislike the management.

  5. indr@ says:

I think JKT48 concerts at Tennis Indor Senayan is not a climax, it’s just a beginning..
There will be more to come from them..
At least fans will be looking forward for JKT48’s own song (not cover version)..

The announcement of gen 3 audition shows that JKT48 is the most succesful overseas sister group of AKB48 (TPE48 is put on hold, while SNH48 hasn’t formed any team until now)..
Management needs to think very carefully for the future of this group and its members..
