Surprisingly, the soundtrack by Ungu Band is very good, I really like it!
About BSG, I’m not a tokusatsu enthusiast myself (Yes I watched this because of Stella :D ), however I really enjoyed the show.

I totally falling in love with the OP song the first time I heard it

      • Tomo says:

What a touchy OP tune :-P! This is not a love song, but the spirit of the lylics asserts “love for the people on the Earth”. For me (just only for my private capacity, gives me a taste of AniSon Anime Songs) .For my own Karaoke song list, I would like to include this. So I have to prepare the backsound using my DTM (Desk Top Music) softwsre. Many colleagues will be surprised :) . Finally I want to speak loudly that again the best and development collaboraion betwee Indonesia and Japan has been generated. “like the stars”,let us shine together in the world. I could not stop my tears on cheek when I heard the song

Is UNGU a famous band already? Or do they become famous, because of this performance “Sperti Bintang”? I think UNGU has a good technique and a good sensibility.

        • Megaaleon says:

They are one of the most famous band in Indonesia, already famous since 2005. Nice songs, good romantic lyrics, and good looking vocalist really make their band name known among Indonesian people, especially women…..

        • JK21 says:

yepp.. UNGU was famous already in Indonesia since 2000’s with their single “Melayang”, and now they famous to in Malaysia and Singapore… they are most favourite band Indonesia after Peterpan in 2000’s-era…

          • JK21 says:

uhhmm.. I’m Sorry not single “Melayang” but “Bayang Semu” I forgotten… hehe :)

            this is their single…

hmm.. i like the ost of Bima Satria Garuda. and i think the action fight of BSG better than another kamen rider.

  3. nanda says:

Honestly, I just watched the prologue (after that, I have to leave due to my work :( ). I am not tokusatsu fans but this series remind me to the 1st kamen rider I’ve watched when I was child. It has been so long I hadn’t watched kamen rider…

On other side, I realized that for tokusatsu fans, it could be “Special Kamen Rider Times” in every Sunday. I mean, after they watched BSG, they switched into “flying fish” channel, enjoying Den-O  <– CMIIW because I heard from some fans, Den-O would be last episode next week

  4. benimaru says:

Maybe.. Just maybe.. Me had too much expectation :-?

Let’s hope the next episode and forth will be better :)

(For me personally, after watched this 1st episode, Panci the alluminium man still better..)

i dont get the criticism from people here, kids would love this kinda sh*t, this is typical tokusatsu / live action style quality , the dialogue, the action, the effects, the editing. its like people expecting hollywood’s the avengers like qualiity or sumthin

  6. JK21 says:

ohhh boy!!! ohh boy!! it’s so exciterd when I watched this series… I felt like watching early 2000’s and latest 90’s era tokusatsu… this feeling is same as when I watching Guyverd, Changerion, and Kamen Rider Kuuga on TV when I was Kid… ><

croos the finger and beware of u-tube policy

  8. indr@ says:

So far, I think Stella’s acting is quite good..

Wait a second, do we talk about BSG or Stella here?

  9. Megaaleon says:

Really good , but I hope they fix the sound effect. It sometimes sounds strange and not clear enough….

  10. Ichigō says:

To sing a tokusatsu song,i prefer j rock rather than ungu. No offense to Cliquers (ungu fans) :D.
    Any one agree with me?

    • Angga says:

      Nope, not me.

“Jakarta Rocks” (As I would like to call them as they’re not a genre whatsoever – This could created confusion amongst our readers  ) will eventually makes the song into a niche post 1998 J-Rock one (The genre) that would be sounded great for post-1998 anime perhaps but not for classic tokus. OR in short : They would be too typical, no surprise element left there anymore.

Having Ungu filled in the role and created such a great OP song is a nice welcome to Indonesia music-scene especially with their classic toku approach to the arrangement.

      • Tomo says:

I really hope UNGU release the 1st single CD of “Hoshi no Yoni (like the stars, Seperti Bintang)” in Japan soon. I want to enjoy the interview of UNGU on J-WAVE (FM station, Tokyo). Sure the concert or tour are welcome

        • Tomo says:

Yeah, if UNGU can do their concert in Japan, UNGU become the another forcefull bridge between Indonesia and Japan. Sounds good :-P
