Well, the handshake event is coming soon, really soon. Just a few weeks more and we will have the chance to talk face-to-face, mano-o-womano or womano-o-womano (whatever it is), eyes-to-eyes, mouth-to-…..
For some, it really looks like an easy task to do. But trust me, once you there and they started to grab your hands and playing with your fingers… it will be a whole other story. What I felt when I did the handshake with the trainees while giving them encouragement to find their own characteristic (which they did VERY well according to the latest report), I was planning to tell them with a smile but I ended up saying it like a jerk instead. That was the most face wall planting moment I’ve ever had.
SO! -with caps- what should one say to the girls once they’re given you the chance to handshake with? What are the tips to use to keep yourself composed? Here’s my take after some extensive research, which took me a minute or so to compile – tips and the topics that you could use as part of your arsenal when facing the horde of currents that attacked your mind and soul once they mingling with your fingers.
Here in this article, I’ve cut it to a 10 seconds limit with 2 seconds for saying “Hi”

And if all fails…Just swing her hands along with yours and give your best grin and then start to laugh. I assure you they will start to laugh with you with no reason at all.
The Tips!
-If you ever feel nervous, pinch yourself in your thigh or step on your left foot using your right foot and act like you were practicing shuffle dance to look cool.
-If you are afraid to look at her eyes, put on a Bruce Lee style 70’s eyeglasses while donning Lee’s costume in “Enter the Dragon”. Again to look cool.
-Your IKEArate will be useless here, so keep yourself from using the furniture around you as your way to release your frustration.
-REMEMBER : PERFUME PERFUME PERFUME. Don’t use too much as you absolutely don’t want the girls to think of you as a walking Deodorant. Don’t be ashamed to put on your perfume while queuing for the handshake. If people started to laugh at you, act like a drag queen to look cool.
-Practice makes perfect. Handshake with your pillow now while timing your conversation and record it to hear which part needed some fine tuning.

Since I’m a onepack kind of guy with a bloated stomach…How about doing it like this : Legendary yellow SpongeBob costume and Lee’s 70’s eyeglasses?
hmmm…. I’ve never though about spongebob, perhaps it’s easier to opt for patrick instead. I only had to paint body into pink color and wear green short pants with floral motifs

The problem is, I love them all
. So to make it fair, I decided to do a lottery based on their name. It would be almost impossible for me to say to her that I do the handshake with her because of a lottery
