That Kultivasi one is more like an experimental one rather than jazz

While SNK sounds like melodic punk.

WOW. Great experience that I enjoyed on your video! Actually I have been dipped into 48 families and J-POP music in Japan. I probably can’t explain what are the characteristic points of those music. So could you please let me know what points or aspects you prefer or you think special/charming on 48 families and J-POP music from the music lovers’ point of view in Indonesia? For instance, lyrics and melodies are easy to be memolized. So can sing easily with Karaoke. Or 48 groups and J-POP music consists of the chaos/mixture of “Enka”, “Kayoukyoku”, “Rock’n Roll”, “Hard Rock”,”Metal”, “Electro”, “Disco or Club” and also “Jazz”. I can propse some points. But I can’t find any particular fascinative points actually. If you could advise, it would be helpful.

Hmm… for me personally, the main point that took my interest in Japanese music is how they interpret music as a pentatonic scale in general and their chord progession that took a hint back to the Carpenters era. I really love how the Japanese music in the 90’s sounds. And to add to that, I really love how they play their creativity with the bass line

the scales and progressions are not for the faint hearted :).

and I have to end this post with,
      HARUKAAA!!!

I think the strong point of JPop is its “poetic lyrics” , which give you something unknown energy for life… u know other genres (I mean the same genre that rising globaly already) just gemme such a trash-ic lyrics (something like “hey ladies , you are very sexy, sexy sexy (100 times repetitively -.-)”, “broken heart then dance jump jump, if u don’t love me I’ll die”, ” what’s the point of these lyrics?those make you a pathethic girl/boy who’s crying a lot in the corner then jump and act like a dumb lol , that’s things even doesn’t represent art itself

I nod at NN san’s idea about “poetic lyrics”. I think if I would be a lyricist for J-POP, I try to write a “story” within a “lyric”, not “beat”. Sure sometimes rhyme.

tomo-san, you know, lately our music have lost the deep meaning of lyrics , once upon a time we had a musician whom created a wow-pretty one lyric (ex: PADI, Ariel NOAH ) , but I dunno what kind of demon who made our market tend to appreciate “the bad grammer-trashy-shit” lyrics…

uhm btw I admire Akimoto-san and Hyde of Laruku, their song’s lyrics are great, pretty awesome and authenthic
